We regret to announce the death of Elder Melchizedek Obwoge Nyangara {formerly an employee of Kenya Revenue Authority} that happened on 8/5/2019 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Son of the late Japhet Nyangara and Peninah Osebe. Husband of Grace Kwamboka. Father of Kefa, Richard, Mercyline, and Jackline. Brother of Elijah, Jomo, Zephaniah, Peterson, Miriam, Sigara, Nyangarisa, Nyambeki, Ruth, the late Nyaera, Kerubo, Mogotu, Nephew of Omundi, Ochora, the late Nyachoka, Nyasani, Omwange and Mose. Son in law of Anyieni and the late Kerubo, cousin of Gizena, Ochiengi, Daudi, Semba, Ochako among others. Grandfather of Awings, Japhet, Stacy, Michelle, Joy, Kembo and Joachim.

There will be a fundraising to offset hospital bill and other funeral expenses on 14/5/2019 at Maasai Discovery Kitengela as from 5pm and on 15/5/2019 at Garden Square Nairobi as from 5pm.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 16/5/2019 for a night vigil at his Milimani home in Kitengela and burial will take place on Friday 17/5/2019 at the same home.

Daughter of Daniel Ongera, the late Sophia Monyenye. Step-daughter of Miriam Ongera. Mother of Sophia, Brenda and Blessings. Sister of Vincent, Ferd, the late Phoebe, Rehema, Marvin, Chris, Mogire and Eunice. Granddaughter of the late Jason, Nyansarora, Miranyi and Nyakoinani. Niece of Nathan, Steve, Achei, Mariana, Teresa among others. Cousin of Tom, Obed, Dennis, Oremo, Nyansarora’s, Jonam, Benjamin, Miranyi’s among others. Sister-in-law of Zipporah, Chritine, Winny and Josphat. Aunt of Daniel, Ian, Bildon, Jason, Maya’s and Sophia.

The main fundraising is on Tuesday 14th May at Rigena Hotel-Nakuru and Gilgil NYS both at 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Mortuary Nakuru on Thursday 16th May at 9.00am for a church service at Gilgil SDA Church then proceed to her Father’s home in Salgaa for burial on Friday 17th May at the same place.

Daughter of the late Harun Ruita Wagithu and Esther Wangu Harun. Loving mother of Charles Mwangi, Ann Wambui Waiharo, Peter Mathenge and the late Joseph Muturi. Sister of the late Eliud Muchangi, the late Jotham Ndiritu, Joseph Gatere and the late Simon Wamwai.

Mother-in-law of the late Dr. Pauline Mumbi Mwangi, the late Paul Waiharo, Margaret Mumbi, Njoki Muturi and others. Grandmother of Wagithu, Matu, Naomi, Ciru, Maina, Mwangi, Ben, Raphael, Kirigo and Angela.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her Mikundi home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Consolata Hospital, Nyeri Mortuary, on Thursday 16th May at 9.00am for a church service at PCEA Chieni and thereafter a burial at her Mikundi home.

Sister-in law of Nyaboke, Bwari, Halili. Mother of James, Charles, sister Josephine, Gichana, Erica, Florence, Jacky and Cecilia. Grandmother of Caroline, Joseph, Simon, Moraa, Sharon, Allan Bradley, Austin, Ivy, Obedi, Luis and Glorious.
