Joel Njiru Kanyange

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Joel Njiru Kanyange on 19th April 2017. Son of the late Josphat Mugo (Gacooni) and Alice Rwamba. Step son of the late Triza Mbuko. Loving husband of Alice Muthoni. Father of Josphat Mucangi (Rusinga School, Nairobi), William Nyaga (COMRED, Mombasa), Martin Njeru (Oshwal Academy, Nairobi), Caroline Karimi (Equity Bank) and Evaline Kanini (Peter Kibukosya High School, Nairobi).
Brother of Agnes Ngima, Lincoln Nthiga, Moses Njue, Lydiah Marigu, Leadys Thaara, Josephine Igoki, Elizabeth Njoki, David Muriithi and Rahab Muthoni. Step brother of Elizabeth Kaura, Rose Wanja, Japheth Kithaka, Jane Muthoni, Agnes Rwamba, Peter Kinyua and Mary Njeri. Father in law of Josephine Nthoki (Nairobi International School) and Maryjane Achieng’ (Oshwal Academy, Nairobi). Grandfather of Stephanie Muthoni, Crystal Wanza and Mwega Timon.
Family and friends are meeting daily in Nthagaiya, Embu County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Friday 28th April 2017 at 9:00am for funeral service and burial at his home in Nthagaiya village, Runyenje’s, Embu County.
