Gregory Maingi Katiso Sunrise 27th Sep 1942 – Sunset 17th April 2017

In deep sorrow and having humbly accepted God’s will, we announce the sudden passing of Gregory Maingi Katiso.
Beloved husband of Mrs Selestina Mawia Katiso. Father of Paschalia M. Maingi (Riara Springs G.H.S), Rosemary Nundu(USA), Lucia_Mumbe (Supersleek), Christopher Katiso (Equity bank) and Irene Kiluu (Al Is On Production). Father-in-law of Keith Sure, Josh Downing, Koki Saku and Lennox Kimburi. Son of the late Timothy Katiso Mbeke and the late Rosemary Syokau Katiso and stepson of the late Alice Nthambi Katiso. Son-in-law of the late Raphael Wambua and the late Lucia Monthe Wambua . Brother of John Kilonzo, the late Boniface Mutuku, Francisca Mukulu, the late Bernard Mulwa and the late Josephine Kiloko. Step brother of V. Makau, the late R.Mueni, the late Thomas, J. Mule and Sila. Grandfather of Tony, Nikki, Kevin, Eve,Vicky, Paul, Joy and Wairimu. Brother-in-law of Stella, Julius, Rose, Mbelita, Mutisya, Francis, Mull, Koska, Ngonyo, the late Mbondo among others. Uncle of Martin, Caro, Kanini,Tosh, Kalaa, Kyalo, Mulei,Tom,Titus,the late Nzembi among others. Friends and family are meeting daily at Nyayo stadium cafeteria from 5.30pm and at his home in Matetani sub- location, Isinga location, Kangundo district, Machakos County. A fundraiser to meet funeral expenses will be held on Wednesday 26th April 20 i 7 at Nyayo Stadium cafeteria from 5.30pm. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University mortuary at 7.30am on Friday 28th April 2017 for-his burial at his home in Matetani sub- location, Isinga location, Kangundo district, Machakos County from I I am.
