John Mbaka Katharanjau
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. John Mbaka Katharanjau that occurred on 5th May, 2017 at Kenyatta National Hospital after a short illness.
A loving husband of Feronica Ngira Mbaka. Son of the late Nthiga Katharanjau and Flonica Ciarunji.
Father of Jenes Mwendia, Ishmael Mwaniki, Sam Erick Kinyua, Onesmus Mutembei, Caroline Ndugu and Agnes Njoki.
Grandfather of Andrea Wawira, Blessing Kawira, Shantel Nyakio and Shanley Karani.
Brother of Shadrack Mugo, late Benson Nyaga, Benjamin Njeru, Agnes Ngai and Daina Turi.
Father-in-law of John Karani, Sylvia Nyaguthii, Catherine Njeri and Rose Wangari.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Gangara (Embu), Accra Hotel (Nairobi) and Coconut Grill (Thika) from 6pm – 8pm.
The funeral will be on Tuesday,16th May, 2017 at his rural home in Gangara, Embu County.
The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home (Embu) at 8am.
