Monica Njoki Gitau (Mama Omari)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mother Monica Njeri Gitau (Mama Omari) on Tuesday 28^th February 2017.

Loving wife of the late Hebron Gitau Njoroge (Sana Sana). Co-wife of the late Mary Njeri. Daughter of the late Kinuthia wa Kaigwa and the late Wanjunu (Wanjiru). Sister of the late Mary Njeri (Ngahu) and the late Bernard Kabue. Daughter in law of the late Njoroge Gitau and the late Nyokabi wa Gitau (Nyathogo).

Loving mother of the late Amos and Margaret Njoroge, Loice and Ndung’u Wathigingi, the late Johnson and Eunice Kinuthia, Esther and the late Henry Anthony Mwaniki, John and Jane Mwanthi, Jeddidah and Samuel Munyiri, Evanson and Alice Kaigwa, the late Wambui, the late Kamau, late Miriam Nyokabi, Elizabeth Wairimu, David Njoroge, Stephen Waithanje, the late Johana Mwanthi, the late Paul Wanyoike and James Kamau. Grandmother and great grandmother and aunt of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangement at Mr & Mrs John Mwathi home, Piave – Njoro, Mr & Mrs Evanson Kaigwa’s home, Matathia, Kimende, Mr & Mrs Samuel Munyiri’s home, Kahawa West and Ebony Meeting Chamber, next to Tuskys Imara Supermarket, Tom Mboya Street starting 5.30pm to 8.30pm. The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Mortuary on Friday 10^th March 2017 at 8am. Burial to take place at home at Piave, Njoro, Nakuru County.
