Mrs. Gladys Onono Amollo (Nyar Gi Obenge)

1947-2017   In humility and full acceptance of God’s will, we announce the sudden death of MAMA on 2/5/2017 at Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu.
Wife of the late Catechist John Amollo Samba, Mama’s children include Plister Anyango Obinga, Petronila Akinyi Otieno, Pauline Samba, Hon. Senator Elizabeth Ongoro Masha, the late Thomas Obara, Dr. Otiende Amollo, Pauline Abiero Omati, Edward Amollo, Christine Nanjira Obialor & Joyce Jante Ochieng. She is survived by many adopted children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends will meet for funeral collection and arrangements on 10th, I I th, 12th and 15th of May 2017 at All Saints Cathedral from 5 pm. A final fundraiser will be held on Tuesday 16th May 2017 at Charter Hall (City Hall) from 4 pm.
The cortege leaves Aga Khan Mortuary Kisumu on 19th May 2017 at 10.00am for prayers. Burial will be on 20th May 2017 at her Chianda home, preceded by Service at Chianda Primary School on the same date, starting 9.00am.
