After a long painful and difficult journey,he went to be with the Lord on May 29th at 06:18 AM.

He was the beloved husband to Mary Wanjiru Irungu, beloved and dedicated father to Miriam Nduta Irungu (Walkersville High School), Moses Mbogo Irungu (Walkersville Elementary School) and Samuel Gichuki Irungu (3 years old).
