Daughter-in-law of Nelson Thangari Muchugu and Miriam Nyawira; step daughter of Joyce Wahu (all deceased). Sister of the late Mithamo, Mathung’wa and Kabugo (all deceased), Wainuku, Kagunda, Kimiti, Kimaru, Gichuki, Nyokabi, Guandaru, Mwangi,Weru. Sister-in-law of Kaboo,Wanjiku,Wangui, Mukuhi, Muchugu and Wamuyu (all deceased) and; Muita, Millicent Wangui, Wachuka, Gitimu, Timothy Muchugu and Esther Kaboo. Mother of the late Michael Thangari Wamae and Miriam Nyawira Kagume ofTumutumu School for the deaf. Mother-in-law of Mary Muthoni Thangari of Wanjithi Primary School, Gakindu and Aggrey Kagume Muraguri of Kenya Ports Authority. Grandmother of Innocent Wamae Thangari, David Maina and Terry Ann Mumbi.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Norwich Union House (opp Hilton Hotel, Mama Ngina Street, Nairobi), and at her Gaturumoini home. The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary Karatina on 07/07/2017 at 7.30 a.m. Funeral service will be held at PCEA Magutu Parish at 10.00 a.m, and thereafter, internment at her home in Gaikuyu, Magutu, Nyeri County.

Nicholas Kithinji Mwebia

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nicholas Kithinji Mwebia. Son of Shadrack Mwebia and Nancy Mwebia. Brother of Fridah Gakii and Rose Gatwiri. Brother-in-law of P Kirimi and B. Kimathi. Nephew of the late J.Mbijiwe, J. Mutonga, S. Kirimi, the late G. Mati, F Muthamia, J. Maringa and the late E. Karambu. Uncle of Myles Muriithi, Sherry Mwende and Miranda Mwendwa.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his father’s home Nkwiga Village Kathera Nkuene at 5.00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Nkubu Consolata Mission Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 6th July at 9.00 a.m. Thereafter burial service at Ntemwene M.C.K Church at 12.00 noon. The burial will take place at his father’s farm Kionyone at Kathera Meru County.

Joseph Kuria Kamau aka Kamau wa Nyama

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Joseph Kuria Kamau aka Kamau wa Nyama of Charlie Brown, Baltimore, Maryland.

He was son of the late Kamau Kanini and Rahab Njambi Kamau of Gachie, Kiambaa location, Kiambu County.

He was husband of Rahab Wairimu Kuria. Father of Rose Njambi Kuria, Kevin Kamau Kuria and Evelyne Wanjiru Kuria. He transitioned on June 24th 2017.

Friends and family will be holding prayers and planning for the memorial at 7pm to 9pm from 28th June 2017 to 6th July 2017 (Excluding Saturday 1st July 2017 at Elimu Tutoring Centre, 9,600 Pulaski Park Dr, Suite 115, Baltimore, MD 21220.

The family intends to rest Mr Kamau at their home in Kenya. The family will be travelling to Kenya for the funeral.

We are reaching out to the community at large to help the family offset the financial expenses arising from Kamau’s untimely departure.
