It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Mrs. Margaret Jepkorir Kibogy on 17th May, 2017. She was a beloved wife to the Late Jonathan Lemiso Kibogy. Mother to George Kibet, Sandra Jematia, David Kiprono,Jannette jepkoech, Clinton Kipkosgei and Daniel Kipkemei. Grandmother to Melanie, Martin, Mark, Salaton, Skylar, Abbey and Baby Andrew. Mother-in -law to Emma, Caleb Tyongik and Victor Bargoria. Daughter to the Late Isaiah Chesire and the Late Mama Elizabeth Kobilo Chesire. Daughter in law to the Late John Kiplagat Kibogy and the Late Alice Jemaiyo Kibogy.

 

Sister to Rebecca Tomno, the late Rhoda Kiptui, the late Daniel Chesire, the late Hon. Reuben Chesire, Hon. Zipporah Kittony, the Late Lily Maiyo, Betty Kipsaita, Magdalene Chelimo, the Late Esther, the Late Emily Taruru and Kiprop Chesire.

Sister- in – law to Ruth Kibogy, the Late William & Asha Kibogy, Mary & the Late Walter Kimwattan, Josephine & Nick Kositany, the late Jackson & Margaret Kibogy, Lily Kibogy, Saidul & Fiona Kibogy, Lucy Kibogy and Kiptoo Kibogy. Loving Aunty to many.

Meetings are being held at Sirikwa Hotel, Eldoret, on Saturday (20th May, 2017) and Monday (22nd May, 2017) at 4:00pm

The cortege leaves MTRH Funeral Home, Eldoret, on Tuesday 22nd May, 2017 at 11am for memorial service at their family home, Benmoi Farm, Moiben, where she will be laid to rest on Wednesday 23rd May, 2017 at 10.00 a.m.

It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the demise of Retired teacher Joseph Aiyabei Cheboswony of Chepkanga and Kimoning village, which occurred on 11^th May 2017 at MTRH.

Son of the late Chebii Cheboswony, the late Sokome Cheboswony and late Magrina Cheboswony. Husband of the late Elizabeth Aiyabei and Scolla Aiyabei. Father of Emmy, Regina, Ben, Constance, Isabella, Pauline, Virginia, Micah, Joyce, Gladys, John, Abraham, Margret, Timothy and Caroline. Brother of Luka, the late Grace, Helena, Salina, Isaac, Jeptarus, Reuben, Paul, Monica, Jelagat and Jeptum. Son in law of the late Cherono Chebii of Katalel and the late Chepkirui Kwambai of Simotwo village. He left behind 34 grandchildren.

The cortege leaves MTRH mortuary on Friday 19.5.2017 at 12noon for prayers at St Joseph’s Catholic Church – Chepkanga, thereafter the body will leave for Lelit home for an overnight vigil.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 20.5.2017.

Former teacher at Jalaram Academy Kisumu and previously Kisumu Boys’ High School. Daughter of the late Zephaniah Odhiambo Olewo and Mama Prisca Aloo. Step daughter of Consolata and Lucy.

Wife of the late Peter Onyango Musira. Dearest mother of Salome Musira, Lucy Musira, Agnes Musira and Grace Musira. Sister of Dr. Luther Otieno (UoN), Jane Otieno, Jennifer Akeyo (UoN), Caren Omondi, John Odhiambo, Eng. Francis Ooko (SONY), Atieno, Akinyi and Adhiambo. Mother-in-law of Chris Isom and Martin Odie. Doting grandmother of Evans, Kevin, Shammah, Jeremy, Pete and Ira. Loving aunty and grandmother of many.

There will be a fundraiser at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi, at 2pm on Saturday 20th May, and at St. Stephen’s Cathedral Kisumu on Tuesday 23rd May (Mpesa Paybill No. 822368, Acc Name Milca).

There will be a funeral service on Friday, 26th May at the old St. Stephen’s Cathedral Kisumu at 11am.

Burial will be on Saturday 27th May from 10am at her home in Ulumba village, Ugenya – after Ugunja Centre and before Ligega.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of the beloved Dolly Musenya Kitonga. Loving wife of George Kitonga Maluki, dear mother of Lemmy Maluki, Caroline Mwikali, Tom Wambua, the late Tonny Muema, Elvis Musyoka, Joyce Vivi and Esther Mwende. Ever loving grandmother of Michael Totti, Melvyn Nzomo, Karen Maya and Jayden Mutua. Daughter of the late James Maluki and the late Esther Mbui. Daughter in law of the late Maluki Nguli and the late Ruth Mukengwa. Loving sister of the late Josephat Muema, James Musyoka and Elizabeth Mwikali. Mother in law of Catherine Ndinda, Wilfred Onyango and Irene Kaluu. She was a loving niece, aunt, cousin, sister in law, grandmother and friend of many.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangement at her home in Kitui. The cortege leaves Kitui General Hospital Mortuary on 20th May 2017 at 9 am for the funeral service and burial at her home in Wikililye location, Kitui County.

The body of 20-year-old Gift Mumbi Kamau, who had been reported missing since March 30, 2017 has been recovered in the Mississippi River.

Her body was retrieved on Saturday May 13, 2017 by badge workers who saw her floating on the banks.

The workers contacted the St Louis police who contacted the Madison police department letting them know that they had stumbled on a body matching the description of Kamau, who had been reported missing by her parents.

The St Louis fire department retrieved her body at around 12.15am near the foot of Gasconade Street.

The St Louis Medical Examiner’s Office identified her through her dental records.

According to police, she had left a suicide note leading to the belief she committed suicide.

A camera spotted her near the bridge between 11.30am and 1.30am on the day she went missing.

She was last captured by a camera as she walked across the bridge towards Missouri.

Since there are no cameras on the Missouri side of the bridge, it is not clear whether she crossed over to the other side.

Mumbi was a daughter of Sammy and Catherine Kamau of Florissant, Missouri. She is also survived by two siblings.
