It is with humble acceptance of God will that we announce the passing on of Daily Kathrine Ngari, of South Land Lang’ata on the 27th of April 2017. Formerly of the Office of the President and Kenya Railway Corporation.

Kathrine Ngari was the daughter of the late Stephano Kariamburi and the late Beth Nyatoro Kariamburi.

She was Mother to the late Francis Ngari and Dr Washington Njogu and mother in Law to Joyce Ngugi. Grandmother to Ngari, Ngugi, Mureithi and many others.

Sister to James Njogu, the late Grace Muthoni, Andrew Migwi, the late Joseph Gichuki, the late John Ciira, Elijah Muchiri and Richard Muu. Auntie to Elizabeth Nyatoro, Irene Nieri, Alfred Mureithi amongst others.

She was Auntie to Elizabeth Nyatoro, Alfred Mureithi and Irene Nyeri, amongst many others. Step sister to Michael Mugo, Rebecca Kanini, David Mundia, and Phoebe Warnbui. She was also auntie to Kamen.

Family and friends will be meeting at Dr. Njogu’s Residence from Sunday 29th April to Monday 1st of May.

Prayer meetings will be held at St Andrews PCEA Church, Nairobi from Tuesday the 2nd to Thursday the 4th of May 2017 from 5pm -7 pm.

The cortege will leave the Lee Funeral Home at 9.00 am for a Requiem service to be held at PCEA Lang’ata at 9.30am. Her final Rites will be held at the Lang’ata Cemetery on Friday the 5th of May 2017.

Father of Jane Wangari (Mini Bakeries) & Ken Wamai, Esther Wanjiku (Githunguri) & Titus Gachuki, Josephine Njeri (Akiyda) & Joe Munene, Catherine Wanjiru (Mini Bakeries) & Geoffrey Kemboi, Hannah Wambui (Kitale) & Peter Ngugi, Lydia Nyambura, Carol Nangui, Susan Waitherero and Nelly Njeri. Brother-in-law of Lydia Nyambura Kefa (Nakuru-DoD). Grandfather of nine kids.

Brother of Njuguna Igamba, Ibrahim Ndung”u, Teresia Igamba, Josephine Njuguna, Hannah Njoroge, Margaret Kagwimi, Mary Gathogo, Evans Kinyanjui, Rev. John Mwega, Lucy lgamba, the late Kuria Igamba and the late Josephine Kimotho.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence in Munyu-lhindu. Naivasha daily from 5.00 pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Jamani Funeral Home – Naivasha on Friday, 05th May 2017, at 9.00 am for a funeral service at his home in Munyu-lhindu.

Death has occurred of Mr. Wilson Wanene Rimi of Rironi Village, Limuru, Kiambu County.

Son of the late Robert Rimi and the late Peninah Njeri.

Dear husband of Sophia Wamaitha. Loving father of Robert Rimi Wanene (Thika High School) and Nahashon Mwaura Wanene.

Brother of Rev. Daniel Nyoro, David Mbira. Minneh Wanjiku, Moses Gichini, Zipporah Njoki and the late Margaret Watati.

Son-in-law of Nahashon Mwaura and Mary Warari. In-law of Zipporah Nyokabi, Clement Mwaura, Naomi Mukuhi, John Ndung’u, Joan Muthoni, Mary Nyokabi and the late James Njuguna all of Tosha Feeds.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 4/5/2017 at 8am. Burial service will follow thereafter at his farm in Rironi Village.

Dr. Waiyaki was a former Cabinet Minister and Member of Parliament for Mathare Constituency. He held several cabinet-portfolios, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Dr. Waiyaki was the first born son of the late Tiras Waiyaki Munyua and the late Elizabeth Wairimu Waiyaki. He was the husband of the late Naomi Wanjiku Waiyaki. He was father of Elizabeth Wairimu, Tiras Barae, the late Susan Wanjugu Waiyaki-Abdallah, Solomon Njuguna, Gladwell Wathoni, Tuchi Karanja and the late Lui Kimani. Dr. Waiyaki was brother to Lewis Kimani, the late Justice James Mugo, Mrs. Gladwell. Wathoni Buliro, Mrs. Jane Nfinga Newbould, the late Kenneth Mang’ara, the late Virginia Wambui Otieno, Mrs. Roxanna Wanjiru, Dr. Peter Gichuhi, the late Edwin Muiru, the late Dr. Benjamin Githieya, the late Eliud Thini, the late David Nyoike, Charles Wanyoike, Prof. Lilian Njeri and the late Reginald Mwathi. He was father-in-law of Veronica Anam-Waiyaki and Ramat Jacob Abdallah.
