Rev. Fr Peter Polycarp Ngochi

The Catholic diocese of Murang’a with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, announces the death of Rev. Fr Peter Polycarp Ngochi.

Son of the late Jason Muhungi Makara and Esther Wairimu. Brother of Mary Mumbi, late George Gachukia, late Margaret Waceke, late Sabina Wangui, Samuel Ngugi, Elizabeth Wanjiru, late Julia Ngonyo, Teresia Wambui, Priscilla Njoki and John Mwangi.

Requiem masses will be held at Kenol and Mukuruwe Parishes on Wednesday 26th April at 4pm.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mission Hospital, Kiriaini at 8:30am on Thursday 27th April 2017, a thereafter mass and burial at Cathedral Parish at 10am. Rest in peace Padre.

Death has occurred of Joyce Kiramatisho Katampoi. Wife of the late Katampoi Katoiye, co-wife of the late Marion Katampoi, sister of the late Paul Sane, the late Mbiiti Moyae, Nakuo Kunoni and Kotente Kunoni.

Mother of Teresia Nakeel, Beth Laitete, the late Janet Orumoi, Gladys Tiampati, David Katampoi, the late Jonathan Salaon, Tabitha Nzovah, Doris Katampoi and Mercy Kishil, Step Mother of the late Kaetua, Solomon, Ernest Isaya, Lawrence, Rev Joseph, Susan and Lucy. Mother-in-law of Josephine and Joyce.

Dickson Simiyu Kisuya

We regret to announce the untimely death of Dickson Simiyu Kisuya of Geothermal Development Company (GDC) Nakuru that occurred on 17th April 2017 at Evans Sunrise Hospital Nakuru.

He was the son of Mwalimu John Wafula Kisuya and Mama Beatrice Naliaka Wafula of Maeni Location, Kimilili Sub-County Bungoma County.

He was a beloved husband of Susan Naliaka Mutembo. Father to James Wanjala Kisuya and Ryan Wafula Kisuya. Brother to Wekesa, the late Janet, Roseline, Geoffrey, Jennipher, Benedict, Clare and Gladys.

The cortege leaves Evans Sunrise Hospital Nakuru on Thursday 27th April for his fathers home in Maeni Location for a tw- day vigil.

Burial will take place on Saturday 29th April 2017 at his father’s farm Kimingichi village, Maeni Location, Kimilili Sub-County Bungoma County.

Father of Joseph Karanja (Munyu), Joseph Kimani (Naivasha), Margaret Wanjiru (Marigiti Market — Nairobi), John Munge (Gitare — Gilgil), Francis Wainaina (Mwiki), Patrick Gikonyo (Umoja — Nairobi), late Ruth Wanjiku, Mary Wambui (Kirengero — Subukia) and the late Laban Mbugua (Malindi). Brother of the lates Munge Githiru, Laban Mbugua, Naomi Wambui, Jackson Kinyanjui and Isaac Miring’u. Father-in-law of Mary Wangui, Miriam Nyambura, Wacera Wainaina and Lucy Njeri. Grandfather of 5 generations.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral Home — Thika today Thursday 27th April 2017 at 5.00p.m for an overnight stay at AIPCA Munyu.

Funeral service will be held at Munyu AIPCA Church on Friday 28th April 2017 starting at 10am. Thereafter, burial service will take place at his home in Magana, Munyu location, Thika East District, Kiambu County.

Sister of Catherine, Sanya, Ambuga, Julius, Jane among others. In-law of the Lumitis, Mashetis, Seretes, among others. Grandmother of Dimitria and Claire.

Brother of Victor Osiri, Francisca Ondieki, the late Samuel Maina, Ebisiba, Nyang’anyi, Osumo, Moraa, Nyarinda and Kemunto.
