It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will we announce promotion to glory of Hellen Njeri Gakenge on 25/4/17 after a long battle with Cancer at Aga Khan Hospital. Daughter of the late Kung’u Huria and the late Mary Mugure. Sister of Hellen Wanjiku Mucina (Gatundu) late Huria Kung’u, Gladys Wambui Ngaru (Murang’a) Ngugi Kung’u (Wanjohi). Mother of the late Joseph Muthee, Dr. Eva Njoka (UNESCO), the late Stanely Murigi, the late Samuel Ndwiga, Mercy Njeru (KERUSSU), Elias Ngugi (Embu), Esther Njoki (Makuyu), Ezekiel Kimani (Coop University), Jackson Muiruri (Makuyu), Robert Nyaga (Qatar),Anita Wanjiku (Embu), David Mwaura (Embu). Mother-in-law of Robert Njoka, Catherine Muthee, Lucy Marigu, Catherine Ngugi, Jane Kimani, Christine Nyaga, Joseph Mbogo. Grandmother, Great grandmother and great great grandmother of many.

Freinds and relatives are meeting at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on 27th and 28th April 2017 at 5.30 pm, Caanan on 29th/4/ 17 at 2 pm and at Kagumori daily. The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral home on Monday 1st May 2017 for funeral service at ACK Christ Church, Nembure from 10.00am and burial thereafter.
