It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mr. Joseph Wandimi Waigwa after a short illness on 5/04/2017.

Son of the late Waigwa Thungu and the late Teresa Wangechi. Beloved husband of Mrs. Anne Muthoni Waigwa of Verb Stationers. Loving father of Michael Waigwa, Catherine Wandimi, Winnie Wandimi, Esther Wandimi, Caroline Wandimi-Mugwimi, George Wandimi. Grandfather of Alvin, Arnold, Keisha, Perry, Jimmy, Amor, Nikitta, Angel, Richard, Maleek and Travis. Brother of Esther Wanjira, the late Apollo Muchemi Waigwa, Elizabeth Wanjiru Kahiga. Father-in-law of Jack Miruka and Patrick Mugwimi.

Meeting on 8/04/2017 at Holy Family Basilica, St. Kizito Hall from 2pm to 4pm and at his house in Juja Road Estate Hse No.26.

Requiem Mass will be held at the Holy Family Basilica on 10/04/2017 at 2pm. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University morgue 7.30a.m on 11/04/2017 for burial at his farm in Gitathini-Karinga-ini, Nyeri County.

 

 

Solomon Makuthi Kakui

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Solomon Makuthi Kakui, Accountant in the Ministry of Tourism. Son of the Late Stephen Kakui Sombi and Sarah Musika Kakui of Katulye Sub-location, Kithembe Location,

Kilungu District.

Husband of Berta Mbeni Musyimi of Department of Correctional Services Nairobi. Father of Doreen Ndeto Makuthi of St George’s Secondary School and Stephen Kyalo Makuthi of Lukenya Academy. Brother of Samuel Sombi Kakui of Kenya Forest Service and the late Aaron Kivuva Kakui. Son-in-law of John Musyimi Mbiu and Teresia Wayua. Uncle of Faith, Stephen, Dan and Joy. Cousin of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in South Park Estate, Sabaki, his Malili Home and Garden Square at 5.30pm for funeral arrangements.

 

There will be a fundraising on Monday 10th April 2017 at Garden Square to offset medical bills and funeral expenses.

Burial will be held on Wednesday 12th April 2017 at his home in Malili Location, Malili District, Makueni County.

Father of Sereya Tiampati, Alice Sialo, Mary Tiampati, Dan Lemaiyian Tiampati and Irene Siamanta. Brother of Nairesiae (Naivasha), the late Milanoi, Sirere, Grace Naipanoi (USA), David, Peninah Tiampati (POSTA Corporation), Nasieku, Moses (USA), Memusi, Margaret (Naivasha), Joseph, Annah Tiampati (KWS-VOI), Mary Tiampati (Rongai) and the late Benjamin. Grandfather of Laureen,Simaton,Naisesian, Alison and Rodney. Cousin of John Tiampati, The late Loise Siloma, Ezekiel Tiampati,. Rebecca Swakei, Sarah Kishoyian, Alice Munke, Stanley Tiampati, Simon Swakei, Sophy Mpaayei and Pst. Samson Tiampati among others.

Burial will take place at his home at Nairragie Enkare, Ten Acres, on Tuesday 11th April 2017.

Daughter of the late Zebedi Omondi and Salome Omondi of Majiwa sub-location, North Sakwa in Bondo. Wife of George Owino Okeyo (Adwera) of Kodero Village, West Seme Sub-location in Kisumu. Beloved mother of Janet Owino, Prof. Willis O. Owino (JKUAT), Dr Joseph Owino (MMUST), the late Hellen Amollo, Phillip Okeyo and Sophy Owino (Kaluore Primary School, Rabuor). Sister of Elida, Margaret, Jennifer, Joseph, the late Eunia and the late Maurice. Daughter-in-law of the late Mathselah Okeyo and Late Hellen Ombiri. Mother-in-law of Dr. Jane Ambuko (UoN), Mary and Isabella. Sister-in-law of James, late Charles, late Aggrey, Nathaniel Ondijo, Walter Ondijo among others. Grandma of Lucas, Mary Ochieng, Stanley, Isaac (Koblo), George Junior, Jane, Fidel, Prince and Eddie. Great Grandma of Rose and Melissa.

The cortege leaves Port Florence Community Hospital Mortuary on the 12th April 2017 at 9am followed by a memorial service at St. Barnabas ACK Church, Osewre at 11am.

The funeral service will take place on the 13th April from 10am at Osewre Primary School, followed by the burial at her home in Kodero Village, neighbouring Osewre Primary School.

 

 

Patrick Mutinda Muli

27/11/1986 – 1/4/2017

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Patrick Mutinda Muli of VOK Mombasa on 1st April 2017 after a short illness.

Son of the late Anne Syombua Muli. Brother of Joyce Mbithe Muli. Grandson of Peter Muli and Esther Muli of Solai Nakuru. Nephew of Sammy, Margaret, Catherine, Elijah, Patrick, Joyce, Moses, Daniel and Sarah and a cousin of many.

He was a staff of Mombasa Port Sacco at the point of his demise.

The cortege leaves Pandya Hospital Mombasa on Friday, 7th April 2017. Burial will take place on Saturday 8th April 2017 at Solai Murran Nakuru.

Cousin of Nyambura, Mwihaki, Samuel, Timothy, Michael, joy, Dominic, Teresia, Linda, Marjorie, Hillary, Elvis, Trevies, Sinei, Wayne, Theo, Vincent and Reagan Shabati. Nephew of Fred, Layman, Maina, Lilian, Evlyn, Ann, Njeri, Leah and Jeremy. Uncle of Fela, Eugine, Njeri and Anne. Grandson of the late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Mbugua and Mr. & Mrs. Elijah Shabati.

Friends and relatives are meeting at their home in Utawala Estate – Spring Field next to Home Matt Supermarket. The body is at the Montezuma Monalisa Funeral home.

Loving father of Martin Njoroge Mungai (Africa Flight Services) and Mumbi & James Munyori. He was a dear grandfather of Alex Gathenya and Bridget Muthoni. Devoted brother to Richard & Beatrice Githua, Veronica & Steve Thiong’o, Jane & the Late Stephen Njuguna, the Late Nancy Mugure, Lawrence & Goretti Gicheha and the Late Alice Wahu.

The cortege leaves P.N.N Funeral Home (next to Mediheal Hospital Nakuru) on Monday 10th April 2017 at 9:00 for a funeral service at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Milimani Nakuru at 10am,Thereafter, burial at the Nakuru South cemetery.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Njoro Home (Jewatho) for prayers and funeral arrangement meetings from 5pm.

John Njihia Kanyotu

24 September 1934 – 4 April 2017

We are sad to announce the death of John Njihia Kanyotu of Ruiru Close, Section 58, Nakuru at the Nairobi Hospital after a long period of illness borne with great fortitude.

Son of the late Daniel Kanyotu wa Mitambo and the late Waithira wa Kanyotu of Subukia, Nakuru County. Step son of the late Kigathi wa Kanyotu. Son-in-law of the late Joseph Mbugua and the late Naomi Wanjeri also of Subukia, Nakuru County. Beloved husband of Susan Mukami Njihia, formerly Lay Leader, ACK Cathedral Church of the Good Shepherd, Nakuru. Beloved father of Alice Waithira, Patrick Njugi, Nelson Mbugua and Emily Wanjeri. Beloved father-in-law of Samuel Kaara Mugweru,Angela Murugi and Richard Waithaka Mburu. Doting granddad of Mugweru and Njihia Kaara; Makena and Mukami Njugi; Nyambura and Kamau Waithaka. Brother of Paul Muigai, Nyambura wa Kamau, Anna Wanjiku and William Kariuki. Step- brother of the late Wanjiru wa Bedan, Wanjiku wa Mburu, Wangari Kanyotu and Teresia Kahungu. In-law of many.

Funeral arrangement meetings are taking place at the Njihia family residence Ruiru Close, Section 58 Nakuru daily from 5.00pm. There will be meetings at the Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi: Friday 7th – 6pm and Saturday 8th – 2pm. There shall be a major fundraising to defray hospital and other costs on Sunday 9th April 2017 from 2.00p.m at the Njihia residence in Nakuru.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 12th April 2017. The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home Nakuru at 9am for the funeral service at ACK Cathedral Church of the Good Shepherd and interment will follow immediately thereafter at the Nakuru North Cemetery.

Prayer meetings will be held at Garden Estate residence and at Bendo Estate, Thika from 5pm from Monday 10th April 2017 to Thursday 13th April 2017.

A prayer and thanksgiving service will be held at Garden Estate and Bendo Estate, Thika at 3pm.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Mary Waithiegeni Ndiritu an Assistance Ecosystem Conservator Nakuru County, which occurred on 3rd April, 2017 at Valley Hospital Nakuru after a short illness.

Daughter of the late James Nyamu Gathambu and Magdaline Nyaruai of Kiganjo Nyeri County. Wife of Samuel Ndiritu Waweru (Asst Hoc Mau Conservancy). Mother of Karen Wangechi and Keziah Nyaruai. Sister of Margaret Wairimu, John Baptist, Paul Githinji, Lucy Wamuyu, Peter Kamotho, Samuel Karume, Teresa Wangari and Eng. Josiah Mwangi. Aunty of Justin, Kamutu among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Lanet Umoja I.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on 10th April, 2017 at 9.00a.m and thereafter burial at her Umoja home.
