It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of out Mum, grand Mum and great grand Mum Mama Alice Kinaitore M’Mwongo which occurred on 3^rd March 2017.

Wife of the late Mzee Daniel M’Mwongo. Mother of Charity Mungatta, the late Prof Florence Mubichi, Francis Kirinya, Gladys Gitonga, Esta Mwari and Henry Kathurima. Mother in law of Erastus Mungata, Stephen Mubichi, Catherine Kirinya, the late Gregory Gitonga and Evelyn Kinya Kathurima. Grandmother of 23 and great grandmother of 19.

Meetings are being held at her home in Meru and at San Valencia in Nairobi. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 10^th March 2017 for burial at her farm at Nchoroiboro village, Ruiru location, Meru County.

Mum, you have fought a good fight, you have finished the course and achieved the goal.

Daughter of the late Jeconiah Omwony and Esther Omwony of Seme Kombewa and daughter in law of the late Ongondo and the late Norah Ongondo of Kakelo – Dudi, Kasipul. Sister of Elizabeth Obiero, David Omwony, Ruth Akoko, the late Robert Omwony, Enos Ochanyo, the late Philip Omwony and Steve Oguda of Kidlington, UK. Mother of Veronica Okeyo, Angela Nyanjong’-Watti, June Awuor, Johanna Oyugi Nyanjong’, Diana Awino, the late Caroline, the late Rose, and the late Esther Anyango. Mother-in-law of Cosmas Ondego, Kennedy Watti and Wycliffe Osoo. Grandmother of Lavine, Lucky, Loraine, Liz, Wycliffe, Emma, Aidan and Zuri.

The cortege leaves Umash Mortuary on Thursday 9^th March 2017 for a funeral service and burial to be held on 10th March 2017 at her home in Kakelo Dudi, Kasipul (near Mikai Market), Rachuonyo sub-County, Homa Bay County.

Son in law of the late David Obange, Mama Alice and Mama Esther and the late Mr & Mrs Ringera. Brother in law of Habiba Jombo, the greater Amboga Family and the Ringeras. Father in law of David Thuo, Sasha, Hilda and Harry. Loving grandfather of Timo, Taliya, Yophi, Favour and Mark Junior. Brother of Jombo, Joshua, William, Alphayo, Jane, Mary, Jimmex among others. He had many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are taking place at his home and at Bomen Hotel in Isiolo. The cortege leaves the Isiolo District Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 11^th March 2017 at 9am.

The funeral service will be held at his farm in Isiolo District at 11am.

Father of Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Ambundo, the late Oscar Ambundo, the late Hubert Karume, Tom Mboya, Mrs. Elizabeth Owano Makari of The Nairobi Hospital, Harriet Akalongo, Jeremiah Murillah, Mrs Julie Ambundo Chweya of HFC Bank, John Tiambati, Joshua Inyangala, Caroline Minayo and Elphas Andati. Uncle of Martin Andati among others. Brother of Ex-Councillor Samuel Andati, the late Mrs. Margaret Ayako Khayo, the late Jacob Omwangale, Pastor Robert Achero and Mrs. Dorine Ndukwe. Sons in-law of the late Canon Nathan Wanyanga and the late LL. Harriet Omina. Father-in-law of Madam Jane Nyerere, Rinah Ambundo, Mr. David Makari of Barclays, Douglas Mabare, Judith Murila, Mr, Ali Chweya of Hermoso Lounge, Maxmillah Tiambati and Dennis. Grandfather of 38.

The cortege leaves the mortuary on Thursday, 9th March 2017. There will be a special service on Friday, 10th March from 9.00 am, followed by burial on Saturday, 11th March 2017, 9.00 am at his home, Ebuhonga Village, Khwisero Sub-County, Kakamega County.

Son of the late Joseph Omollo and Serphine Omollo. Beloved husband of Monica Omollo and Nancy Omollo. Father of Joyce, Billy, Winniey, Wycliffe, Emma, Ian and Amani Omollo.

Father in law of Yvonne Ingari and Lennox Owuor. Brother of Patrice Songa, Priscilla Omollo Ayieko, the late Mary Omollo Nguka. Uncle of Cyprian Songa, Joseph Ayieko, Charles Nguka and many others. Son in law o f Mr & Mrs Isaac Malit and Mr & Mrs Joshua Dobby. Brother in law of the Malits, the Dobbys, the Ngukas, the Ayiekos, the Mikallas and the Nyakekes.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 5.30pm at Nairobi Railways Club for funeral arrangements.
