George Makas Pnoibei

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of George Makas Pnoibei, retired teacher and former chairman of Mt Elgon County Council.

Son of the late Festo Pnoibei Msee and the late Rael Chemutai Ndara. Husband of Selina Nasipondi Makas. Father of Joyrine Kirui, Idris Maghas (9KR), Stephen Chengek (Kiganjo Police Training School), Faith Osir (GK Primary School – Kitengela) and Sharon Makas. Brother of the late David Chemos, Patric Barasa, the late Jackson Cheren, Esther, Rebbeca and Joyce. Father-in-law of Edwin Kirui (MAB), Robert Osir (MAB), Vicky Chesori and Golda Wanyonyi. Granddad of Ruto, Rian, Chestit, Arriele and Jayden.

The Cortege leaves Moi Teaching Referral Hospital, Eldoret on Thursday 9th March 2017 at noon for funeral service at Cheptais Salvation Army. Burial will be held on Saturday 11th March 2017 in his farm at Cheptais, Mt. Elgon from 10am.
