The Wakaba family wish to announce the death of our beloved land valuer Grace Wakaba (Director Lotus Valuers and International Valuers), mother & friend to Gee Gladys Wairimu; graduand of CUEA. Daughter of the late Geoffrey & Gladys Wakaba of Ruring’u, Nyeri, sister of Mary & Watson Murigo, Frank & Maria Wokabi, Patterson Muturi, Penny & Lawrence Mungai, Joyce & Rev. Mwangi Munyi (USA), Bob & Margaret Kamuru, Annie Wakaba (USA), George Wakaba and Eddie & Jane Wakaba.

Family & friends will meet at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday 8th February and Thursday 9th February from 5pm.

The funeral service will be on Friday the 10th at St. Francis ACK, Karen at 10am. followed by a private cremation thereafter.

Son of the late Daniel Ndunga and the late Martha Mwikali. Husband of Mary Ngui. Father of Kelvin Ndunga and Mark Nzimbi. Brother of Josephine Munee, Agnes Syokau, Joseph Nzimbi, Rose Mbithe, the late Joyce Nthenya, Jane Nzilani, Anne Kalondu and Julius Musyoka. Step brother of Munini, Muthoki, Maweu, Kimuyu among others. Brother in law of Bishop Mwalili of Green Pasture Tabernacle and Mr & Mrs Josphat Kavale among others. Son in law of Mrs Kithunu Kyende, Kitavi, Kioko and Grace. Friends and relatives are meeting at their rural home Nthangu village Wote, T Tot Hotel Machakos, Kyumbi Junction, Katiaa Kalama and All Saints Cathedral Nairobi from 4pm daily. The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Machakos Funeral Home on Friday 10th February 2017 at 8am and thereafter burial on his farm at Nthangu village, Wote, Makueni County.

Mkonu, Janice, Prof. Marianne, Catherine, Anne Ndung’u and Cecilia. Sister of the late Basil Mwamburi (Twin), late Angus, Doreen, late Abigael, Late Patience and late Martin, Sister in-law of Eunice Mwanyumba, the late Lily and the late Mwamto. Family and friends are meeting daily at the Coast General Hospital for funeral arrangements from 5:00pm. There will be a fundraising on Wednesday 8th February 2017 at the Mombasa Memorial Cathedral Teens Banda starting at 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves St Joseph’s Hospital Mortuary Voi on Friday 10th February, 2017, followed by the burial on Saturday 11th February 2017 at her home – Ronge Juu, Kishau sub-location starting at 11am.

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs Rosemary Karoki Gitau of Saint Mary’s School Nairobi which occurred on Saturday February 4th 2017 at Melchizedek Hospital after a long illness.

Daughter of Mr John Marimba and the late Mrs Fausta Muthoni. Wife of the late Mr Albert Gitau Mwangi. Mother of Dorris Gitau (Netcare Medical Centre), Lilian Gitau Ruto, Kenneth Mwangi (Kenol Hospital), Patrick Kimathi (Lavington United Secondary School), Susan Wanjiru (St John’s Academy). In law of Engineer Samuel Ruto and Samuel Mathenge. Grandmother of Dylan Yego, Damien Yego and Albert E Mathenge. Sister, aunt and a friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her residence in St Mary’s School Nairobi from 5pm. There will be a major fundraising on Wednesday 8th February 2017 at 4pm to offset the medical bill.

Grandchild of the late Mathenge Kigera and Margaret Mathenge (Nyeri), Nzioka Musau and Florence Nzioka (Kathiani). Esther Salama Ngumbao

It is with deep sorrow that the Nairobi City County Assembly wishes to announce the untimely death of Esther Salama Ngumbao on 6th February 2017 at the Aga Khan University Hospital. She was a staff of the County Assembly working in the Hansard Department from December 2013 until her demise. Adoring daughter to Nehemiah and Christine Ngumbao; loving fiancée to Mr. Paul 0. Gisore (NCC Legal Affairs). Doting sister of Pendo Lugonzo (DPSM Youth Affairs), Kadzo Mwangura (AG’s office), Sarah Sidi (MoH), Kache Nyamolo (Co-op College), and Baya Ngumbao (Qatar Airways). Aunty of Micheal Keysi, Bradly Lugonzo, Lucas Silas, Trevor Nyamolo, Sydney Walters, Bethuel Mshindi and Mariam Mkawuda.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday 9th February 2017 starting at 10am at Umash Funeral home Chapel. Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Charter Hall, City Hall building from 5:30 pm. Dear wife of the late Peter Kamau Mbugua. Mother of John Baptist Mbugua of Juja, Catherine Waithera and Charles Kirori (Harry) of Juja. Sister of late Ngumba Kirori, Peter Kamau Kirori and Rosemary Mugure Kirori of Igegania. Mother-in-law of Nancy Mbugua.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at her son’s residence, John Mbugua (Kanini Farm, next to Juja St. Peter’s School). Other meetings are happening at Centurion Hotel (Flighpoint, Juja) from 6pm to 8pm.

There will be an inter-denominational prayer meeting on Thursday, 9/02/2017 at his son’s residence starting at 2pm.
