It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the departure of our beloved Mama Aliphonsinah Kemuma Oigo.

Daughter of the late Karori Oigo and late Brigta Bitengo. Mother of Ingred Bitengo of Kemri/University of Washington. Sister of Peter Onyancha, Patrice Nyamagwa, Mitaliti Maeta, Salome Ombasa, Mary Mocheche Ogot and Aloys Kenyaga. Sister-in-law of the late Teresa Onyancha, Josephine Nabagala, Marita Kenyaga, Sabina Moraa, late Teresia Nyabate, Daniel Ombasa among others. Aunty of Hon. Charles Onyancha, Mary Makori, Fred (Bungoma). Irene Ogoti and many others. Niece of Michael Nyagisera, Paustina Mankinda, late Snr. Chief Andrea Mokaya, Joseph Mitunda, Nyaribo and Nyakeirura. Aunt of Fred Oigo, Edward Oigo, James Kenyaga, Jacob Masese, Brigid among others.

Funeral arrangements are being held at Her residence in Mwembe Tayari Kisii. The cortege will leave Christamarian Hospital-Kisii on 26th Jan 2017 for an overnight vigil at home in Bogiakumu location Nyauno village, Bonchari Kisii. The funeral will be held on Friday 27/01/2017 at her family’ home in Nyauno Village, Bogiakumu, Bonchari, Kisii South District.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 27th January 2017 at 7.30 a.m. for Wiyumiririe sub-location, Laikipia County where she will be laid to rest.

Son of the late Gerishom Omuyoma and Sarah Omukosia. Step son of Miriam Omuyoma. Husband of Lay leader Mrs. Margaret Ayoma Etenyi. Brother of the late Nathan, the late Abisai, the late Harun, the late Dorcas, the late Hellena, the late Noah, Hoka, Rehoboam and Martin. Father of the late Callaghan, Sarah, Kennedy, Morris, Phan, Susan. James, Godfrey, Priscilla, James, Gabriel, and Mary (Kisiele). Loving and dotting granddad of Cally, Kevin, Tiphany, Petra, Ethan, Paul Junior and Magnes. Father-in-law of the late Joseph, the late Rose, George, James, Jamila and Njeri. He was an uncle of many.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 26th January, 2017 at 08.00 am. Burial to take place at his farm Ebusiralo village on Saturday 28th January 2017 from 10.00am

Husband of Teresa Nyawira Kabuchwa. Father of Paul, Nancy, Anne, Anthony, Grace, Geoffrey, Susan and Maureen. Brother of the late Gichero, the late Muriuki, the late Karuki, the late Wambugu, the late Wanjiku, Francis Kinyua, David Murage, Muchiru, Wangu, Nyaguthii, Wamuyu, Regina Murimi, Nyuthe, Thoithi, Thuo, Muriuki, Ngunyi, Mumbi, Mukuhi, Njogu and Njeri. It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Eunice Njoki Mburu after a long battle with cancer bravely borne which occurred on 22/01/2017 at Alexanderia Cancer Centre Nakuru. Wife of Obadiah Mburu Njuguna of JICA.

Daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Joseph Makibia. Daughter-in-law of the late Mr & Mrs. David Njuguna Wahothi of Gakoe. Beloved mother of Faith Nyambura of Nakuru, David Njuguna of Safaricom, Esther Njambi Musyoka of Nairobi. Mother-in-love of Nancy Wanjiku and Jason Musyoka. Grandmother of Elizabeth, Wahothi and Eunice. Sister of the late Wangui Kopejo, the late Irene Muraguri, John Makibia, James   Makibia, the late Kezia Ngugi, Grace Njenga and Peter Makibia. In-law of many, cousin of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at their home in Olive-inn Nakuru from 5 pm and at Gakoe-Thika from 3pm.

The cortege leaves Sagam Community Hospital Mortuary on 27th January, 2017 at 12noon for a requiem mass at St. Mathews ACK. Kandaria Church followed by an overnight vigil at his home. Final funeral service will be held on 28th January, 2017 at St. Mathews Kandaria Secondary School Grounds from 9am. He will be laid to rest at his home thereafter.

1947 – 2017

The committee chairman, Mr Timothy Omindo of Kokello Welfare, Nairobi, sadly announce the death of Mr James Samuel Oguna Okendo which occurred on 15th January 2017 in Kisumu. Son of the late Job Okendo and Late Teresa Odero.

Husband of Mrs. Agneta Adhiambo Muga and Mrs Arnolda Anyango Arara. Father of Ruth Anyango (Nvakach), Edwin Muga (JKIA Cargo Village), Aggrey Oluoch, Joshua Ade (Phoenix Assurance), Lavinia Waringa (Intercon), Dorothy Adhiambo Roglin (Germany), Maureen Adhiambo (Ministry of Lands), Esther (Germany), Job Okendo and Abong’o (Kenya Redcross). Brother of Mathews Obuo, the late Mary Newa, the late James Ombima, Dinah Osewe, the late William Ndolo, the late Lornah Auma, Philip Ayoki and Margaret Oketch. Brother in law of Bishop 0. Wasonga (Maseno West), Rtd. Territorial Commander, Commisioner Ezekiel Anzeze (Salvation Army). He has left behind more than 20 grandchildren.

Husband of Risper Amoke Aguda. Brother of the late Puoyo Oker and Alori Oker. Beloved father of Eng. Gabriel Aguda, Joanes Ogawo, Mary Oker, Paul Otieno, Christine Ojode, Eunice Nyambogo and Daniel Oriwa.

Grandfather of Daniel, Philip, Samuel, Timothy, Bradley, Bryan, Brenda, Bridgette, Abeni, Joseph, Jasmine and Jilian.

The cortege leaves Ahero County Hospital Mortuary on Friday 27th January 2017 at 1pm for a requiem mass at Awasi Catholic Church at 3pm. Burial will take place at his home in Awasi, Border Sub-location on Saturday 28th January 2017.
