It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Sister-in-Christ Philomena Monica Wambui Njihia (Mama Njeri) after long illness bravely borne. She was proprietor of Pemugi Enterprises Malaba. Loving wife of the late James Njihia Gichinji. Loving mother of Beatrice Njeri, Dorcas Ngonyo, Joseph Wainaina, Tabitha Wanjiku, Martha Wanjiru, Anne Wamaitha and the fate Moses Gichinji. Mother-in-law of James Mbugua, Mary Mwihaki, Geoffrey Ngugi and Aaron Mwega. Grand Mother of Cynthia, Jimmy, Ricky, Njihia, Staicy, Philomena, Luis, Valerian, Brian, Isaac, Shantel, Agnes Rachel, Raphael, Shaleen And Moses. Loving daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Joseph Wainaina Wang’ang’a (Kamangu Ndeiya). Daughter-in-law of the late Mr & Mrs Wallace Gichinji Njuguna (Tiekunu Ndeiya). Sister of Maritha Wanjiku (Kamangu), Grace Kamanu (Nyahururu), John Ndung’u (Kamangu), Hannah Kihara (Njoro), the late Bernard Wang’ang’a and Julius Kihuyu. Step sister of Mary Mutual (Gitaru), Gabriel Wang’ang’a (Kamangu), Lucy Kahuria (Kakamega), jecintaWambui (Nyahururu), Clement Ngure (Kamangu) and the late George Kung’u. Sister in-law of Peter Mugo (Malaba), John Mbugua (Thika), Grace Kiriro (Olkalou), Mary Kabetu (Gikambura) and the late Tabitha Wanjiku (Loitoktok), Isaac Njuguna (Kitale), Hannah Ndung’u (Eldoret) and John Iguanya (Naivasha).

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Malaba, Eldoret and Nyarugumu Muguga. The cortege leaves Mater Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 14/02/2017 at 9am and there after funeral service and burial will take place at her residence Nyarugumu Muguga (Ha Gichini Stage).
