Son of the late John Wataka and the late Petronila Nabifwo. Husband of the late Madam Joyce Nasimiyu Wakoli. Beloved father of Khatundi, Nafula, the late Kizito, Nanjala, Sioyi, Mresia, Sirengo, Nangekhe and Mamai. Brother of Bonventure, Consefta, Patrick, Erick, Gilbert, Dina, Sicolastic, the late Bernard, the late Dismas, the late Madisi, the late Nakokonya, Everlyne, Juliana, Anthony, Wilbroda, David, Mary, Nanyama, Soita, Khalayi, Muuchi, Pale and Michael. Son-in-law of the late Jackson Mamai and the late Lenah Nasipwondi. Brother-in-law of the late Khaindi, Nabangala, Makokha, the late Nelima, the late Wabomba, Nekesa, Nasambu, Munyei, Rose and Lonah. Father-in-law of Benson, Godfrey, Doreen, Gloria, Racheal and Kizito. Grandfather of Edith, Marvin, Sharlene, Abigael, Dorcas, Emmanuel, Rita, Justus, Ricardo, Juliet, Perpetual, Charlene, Jesse, Trevor, Allysa, lan,Titiana and Joyce.

Burial will be held on Thursday 10th, August, 2017 at his home Bungoma County, Kimilili Constituency, Marinda Village.
