It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr Charles Gicovi Njogu (Njeru) – formerly of VOK/KBC, which occurred on 17.02.1027 at 10am. Son of the late Samuel Njogu Muyambiri and Alice Njoka Njogu and step son of Glady’s Ciumwari Njogu. He’s survived by son Tony Muturi & daughter Juliet Waruingi.

Husband of the late Lucy Njoki and Ruth Wanja. Doting father of Charity Karimi, David Muturi, Solomon Fundi, Yvonne Mukami, Lydia Kagendo, June Murugi and Dorcas Njoki and six grand children. Brother of Francis Mwaniki (Mali ya Bwana, formerly Sohan Singh & Sons/Suzuki), Harry Njogu (Mbiri Conrenova Ltd), Patrick Njogu (Njagi), Alexanda Murithi, James Kariuki, Johnson Kathuri, Nancy Muthoni, Joan Njoki, Faith Marigu, Lydia Wambeti, Jane Wandiri & Newton Mwaniki.

Friends and relatives are meeting at Hot Dishes – Nairobi, Opposite Holy Family Basilica at 5.30pm and at his Manyatta home. The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Friday 9am for funeral service at ACK Church Manyatta. Thereafter burial at his home in Gacucari Manyatta. All are Welcome.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his father’s home near Mbita Catholic Church. The cortege leaves on 23rd February 2017 from Kirindo Med 25. Damians will be laid to rest on 24th February 2017 at his home in Mbita Kasgunga Usare Village. Star of the Sea, Mbita Catholic Church will preside over the requiem mass.

Burial will take place on Saturday 25th February 2017 at his Makhuma Village, Kanduyi Constituency Bungoma County.
