Husband of Margaret Nyaguthii Kariithi. Son of the late Kariamwere Kariithi and the late Charity Gathoni Kariamwere. Brother of Mary Wangu Ngunyi, the late Francis Macaria, Rev. Dr. Fred Kameru (USA) and Christopher Kioni. Father of James Baru (Embu), Fravian Wairimu (Chief – Nakuru), the late Grace Wanjiru, Cyrus Kariamwere (Co-operative Bank Ltd), Francis Macaria (Nakuru) and the late Joseph Mundia. Grandfather of Erick, George, Lorna, Edna, Brenda, William, Jeff, Kimberly, Cyril among others.

The Cortege will leave Jamii Funeral Home, Karatina, on Friday 17th March 2017.

Funeral Mass will be held at Karatina Catholic Church at 10am thereafter interment to be at Kiawarigi. Daily prayers are being held at Kiawarigi, Ibis Karatina, Nakuru and Nairobi.

The cortege will leave Kapsowar Mission Hospital at 1pm on Monday 13/3/2017 for a requiem mass to be held at Chesoi Catholic Church.

The funeral service will be held at home Mureto village, Chesoi, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Waigiri, Kariko sub-location, Kirinyaga County starting from 4pm and at his son’s home Ruiru (Membly Estate).

The cortege leaves Mt Kenya Funeral Home(Kibingo) on Friday 17th March 2017 at 9.00am. Burial mass will be held at St Francis Waigiri Catholic Church the same day starting at 11am and thereafter body to be laid to rest at his farm Waigiri.

Days, weeks and months have turned into one year since you departed from us. We, the Wairoma family would like to thank the Almighty God for enabling us to cope with your departure. The pain of your absence has been heavy, but God remains our comfort and strength. As we take this time to remember you, we would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all our friends, relatives and well-wishers who stood with us physically, morally and financially both during and after the funeral period. We regret to announce the untimely death of Caroline Nakhumicha Muyumbu of the Department of Social Development, Makueni County, at Mater Hospital, Nairobi, following an illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Dr and Mrs A.J. Muyumbu and mother of Peter Wakhungu. Beloved sister of Amos, Caine (USA), Rose, Linda, Maureen, Patrick, Harriet, Fred and Andrew. Sister in law of Fiona, John (USA), John, Richard, Esther and Hellen.

Meetings will be held daily at 5.30pm starting Tuesday 14th of March at Railways Club.

A fundraising to offset funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday 21st of March at the same venue.

We are humbled to announce the passing to glory of Mr. Dickinson A. W Musinde in Columbus Ohio (USA) on Tuesday March 1st 2017. He hailed from Muramba, Businda village, Samia, Busia County. The Late Mr Musinde worked for KRA-Customs department until 1998.

Son of the late Mzee Peter Musinde Ouma and Mrs. Felesiah Ouma. He is survived by his wife Joyce Musinde, his children Felesiah Musinde, Catherine Musinde, Lillian Musinde.Jacqueline and Edward Wanyandeh Peter and Ebony Musinde, and Priscah Musinde. Grandfather (Babu) of Valerie Musinde, Sydney Musinde, Amani Musinde and Amirah Musinde. Brother of Rosemary Aliki Ongesso, the late Hezron, the late Ojiambo, the late Ouma and the late Priscah. Brother in law of Julia Gogo, Esther Mwakurigha, the late Gladys Tendwa, Job Mwakurigha and Rose Mwakurigha.

There will be a memorial service at All Saints Cathedral on the 16th of March 2017 at 12 noon. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral home for Kisumu on Friday 17th March 2017 at 6.00am and will be laid to rest at his home in Samia-Businda Village on 18th of March 2017.

Margaret Berglund Sweden, Anne Wanjiku, Alex Kamwana (Medsurge Health) Nairobi, Jane Wangari Sweden, Catherine Wanja Nyeri, Caroline Wamuyu Germany, Mary Njamiu Sweden and Felista Wanjiru. He was father in law to Peter Berglund, Moses Mukenye, Mary Kamwana, Ndonga, Yanney Graupner and Nilson. He had 35 grand children and 10 great grand children. He hails from Nairutia Village, Gatarakwa Mweiga.

Family and friends are meeting daily from Tuesday 14th March, at the St Andrews PCEA Church, Nairobi at 5.30pm and at his Nairutia home.

The body leaves Nyeri Funeral Home, Outspan Hospital on Tuesday 2 1 st March 2017 at 9.30am.
