It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we give glory and honour to God for the life of Esther Wairimu Munyua who has slept in Christ after a short illness on 3rd March 2017.

Daughter of the late Gathagu Rubua and the late Leah Warigia Gathagu. Wife of the late Geoffrey Muntua Githegi. Mother if Christopher Muciri, Naomi Orina, Charles Gathagu, Peter Mwangi, Moses Kariuki and the late Lucy Njoki. Sister of Muhindi, late Muchemi and Mureithi. Grandmother of Tony, Brian, Collins, Wairimu, Ronaldo, David, Jimmy, Susan, Jenny, Eddy, Simon, Sadra and Mumbi among others. A loving grandmother of five, aunt, and friend of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Kaburaini, Naromoru, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nanyuki mortuary on Thursday 9th March 2017 at 8.00am for a funeral service and burial thereafter at her rural, home in Kaburaini, Nyeri County.

Great grandmother of Risper Gathoni Mugweru (Gatugi Girls), Felix Ciuma Mugweru, Jayden Kagume Karumba and Mylyn Favour Wangari.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the Family Home, Gitima-ini Village from 4pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary Karatina on Friday 10th March 2017 at 8.30am followed by a memorial service to be held at Gitima-ini AIPCA Church from 10.30am and burial thereafter at the family home Gitima-ini Village, neighbouring the D.O’s office.

The cortege leaves Mukurwe-ini Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 8th March 2017 at 8am, to his home followed by burial thereafter.

He was a nephew, cousin and friend to many.
