We regret to announce the death of Esther Moraa Okeyo which occurred on the 17th February, 2017 at Coptic Hospital, (Nairobi). Wife of Okeyo Mochiemo of Mogumo village, Nyamira County. Daughter of the late Mogusu Sani and late Joyce Mandere. Step daughter of Bisieri of Ramasha, Metembe, Kisii County. Daughter-in-law of the late Mochiemo Onuong’a and late Kemunto. Mother of Walter, Macmillan, Irene, Rose, Caroline and Lilian. Sister of the late Nyangena, Musiria, Kerini, Charles, Zablon, the late Trusilla Nyamwange. Step sister of Meraba among others. Sister in-law of Ogeto, Mosoti, Kombo, Ayiera, Ombui (all late), Mong’ina, Nyamamba, Obiero, Kwamboka, Oremo, Omboga, Nyaboke, Nyomenda, Araka, Magares, Omoros. Niece of Manyibe and Onsarigo (all late), London, Laban and Pastor Peter Chief. Mother-in-law of Esther, Anne, Pastor Ombongi and Samuel. Korera of Machani, Nyaboke, Ombongi, Bichungi, Christine and John.

The committee is meeting to raise funds for medical and funeral expenses on Monday 6th March, 2017 at Garden Square from 5.00pm. The final fundraising will be on Tuesday 7th March, 2017 at Professional Centre from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Coptic Hospital Mortuary on the 9th March 2017 for burial at Mogumo village, Bogwendo sub-location, Nyamira County on Friday 10th March, 2017.
