Mother of Hellen (Kitale Hospital), Philip (UG County), Miriam (Nandi Hills), Edwin (NACC), Willy, Abel, Elkanah (Ward Administrator Ziwa) & Elizeba (Eastleigh Primary). Mother in law of Joyce, the late Joseph, Julia, Lucy, Hildah, the late Everyline and William Togom (Nyayo Tea Zones). Grand mother and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home, Legebet Village, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves MTRH Mortuary on Friday 10th March 2017 at 9am for prayers at ACK St Jame’s Legebet Church and an overnight Vigil. Burial will be on Saturday 11th March 2017.

Loving wife of William Arusei Korir (Lawyer). Mother of Faith Jelimo Korir (Loreto Convent). Daughter of Simon Keitany Rutto, the late Elizabeth Rutto and Milka Rutto. Daughter-in-law of Kipkorir, Kimoi and Kabon Rerimoi. Sister of Lydia, Rossy, David, Nelly, Ben, Evelyn, Raphael, Brian, Grace, Maureen, Claire, and Kiptigen. Sister-in-law of David, Nelson, Charles, Julia, Jacqueline, Wangari, Daniel, Joel, George, James, Joseph, Wesley, Chris, Festus, Richard, Victor, Samuel, Kimaru, Kibor, Grace, Salinah, Caren, Faith, Jematian. A major fundraising will be held both at their residence in Mogotio and Cardinal Otunga Hall Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi, on Wednesday 8th March 2017 at 5pm.

There will be a brief service before leaving Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru on Saturday 11th March 2017 at 8:30a.m.Thereafter, a funeral service will be held at the graveside and burial on their farm in Logiri 3km from Mogotio town, Baringo County.

APPRECIATION

The Family of the late Henry Kinyua would like to sincerely thank all those who stood by us during this very difficult time when our dear Henry passed on.

First, we thank the Almighty God who gave us Henry for 80 wonderful years and for blessing us as we planned his last journey.

We would also like to thank the church – the Lavington United Methodist Church led by by Rev Tom Otieno and his entire team, Kinaru Church in Meru led by Bishop Lawi Imathiu and his entire team and all the other pastors who prayed with us, consoled us on the last day, ensured we gave Henry a befitting send off.

Special thanks go to all the doctors, especially Dr Omanga and Dr Patel of Aga Khan Hospital who ensured we got the best care, all the nurses and the care givers for going beyond their call of duty to ensure Henry was comfortable.

We shall be forever grateful to the family and all our friends who gave us immense support through their prayers, visits at home to condole the family and their generous giving of their time and resources. We are overwhelmed by your love.

To each and everyone of you, please accept our sincere gratitude and appreciation for standing with us.

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joan Njeri Gitau (JoJo) of PCEA Neema Church, Lowell, MA, which occurred on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017.

She was the mother of Jane Wambũi Njoroge and daughter of Frashia Wanja Gĩtaũ also of PCEA Neema Church. She was also a niece of Esther Karanja, Isabella Gĩtaũ, Peter Gĩtaũ, Julia Njenga and Edwin Njenga and a granddaughter of Edward and Jane Gĩtaũ Njũi.

Wife of the late Edward Maina Gachugu. Loving mother of Regina Wanjiru – Principal Moutain View School, Lucy Waceke, John and Leah Kamau, Anthony and Christine Mwaura, David and Rose Mukii. Grandmother of Ann Nyandia, Shiro and Peter Kituri, Edward Kamau, Samuel Muchai, Blanche, Monica, Edward Mwaura, Ann Mwaura, Warren Mukii, Ann Mukii, Edward Mukii.
