It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Purity Jepkurui Rutto formerly of TSC (Nairobi) through a tragic road accident on 25th February 2017.

Loving wife of William Arusei Korir (Lawyer). Mother of Faith Jelimo Korir (Loreto Convent). Daughter of Simon Keitany Rutto, the late Elizabeth Rutto and Milka Rutto. Daughter-in-law of Kipkorir, Kimoi and Kabon Rerimoi. Sister of Lydia, Rossy, David, Nelly, Ben, Evelyn, Raphael, Brian, Grace, Maureen, Claire, and Kiptigen. Sister-in-law of David, Nelson, Charles, Julia, Jacqueline, Wangari, Daniel, Joel, George, James, Joseph, Wesley, Chris, Festus, Richard, Victor, Samuel, Kimaru, Kibor, Grace, Salinah, Caren, Faith, Jematian. Auntie and cousin of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their residence in Mogotio at 5p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.

A major fundraising will be held both at their residence in Mogotio and Cardinal Otunga Hall Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi, on Wednesday 8th March 2017 at 5pm.

There will be a brief service before leaving Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru on Saturday 11th March 2017 at 8:30a.m.Thereafter, a funeral service will be held at the graveside and burial on their farm in Logiri 3km from Mogotio town, Baringo County.
