Son of the late Titus Muli Mutie and the late Florence Mbathe Titus. Brother of Phylis Mueni Titus and the late Lucy Mulau Titus . Uncle of Maureen Thaavu and Dinah Kandoto. Nephew of Geoffrey Mwalimu Mutie, Nzambi Mutie, Muema Mutie, Malinga Mutie, Tom Mutie, Ronald Mutie, Jane N. Kavua, Saina Musyoka, Lucia Nyamai, Mutyota Matiti, John Matiti and many others. Cousin of Benedict Kiema, Ellema Kiema, Julius Kithome, Mutie Malinga, Patrick Toma, Mutie

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Sahara City Gardens along Mombasa road for burial preparation. The cortage will leave Mater Hospital Mortuary on 8th April 2017 for burial at Kiliko home, Kitui County.

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that Kilimanjaro group of schools announces the death of Joseph Gathagu Kagika, Director Kilimanjaro Group of schools which occurred on 3rd April 2017 after a struggle with illness. Son of late Kagika and the late Elizabeth Muthoni. Husband of Regina Wangari. Father of Elizabeth Muthoni (Nurse Mbagathi Hospital), the late Janerose Kagika, James Kagika (Kilimanjaro Senior girls) and Peter Kagika (Rombo J.K.A). Grandfather of Janerose Taiyana (Nairobi University), Brian (Australia), John Shawn (Kitengela International School), Derrick and Precious (Rombo Academy). Father-in-law of Christine Duro. Githae Kiereini

“I have to leave, I have no any, otherwise!”

We regret to announce the death of Githae Kiereini.

Githae was the son of Jeremiah and Muringo Kiereini.

Brother of Douglas, Wambui King, Mumbi, the late Mburu and Caroline Kiereini and brother-in-law of Joyce and Wambui Mburu Kiereini.

He was an uncle, cousin of many and beloved friend to many more.

He was cremated at a private family ceremony on Thursday April 6th 2017. There will be a memorial service and celebration of Githae’s life at All Saints Cathedral on April 21st at 2pm.

Her Excellency Ambassador Margaret Wambui Kenyatta

1928 – 2017

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Her Excellency Ambassador Margaret Wambui Kenyatta.

She was the daughter of His Excellency the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and the late Mama Grace Wahu Kenyatta and Her Excellency Mama Ngina Kenyatta.

She was the mother of the late Justice Patrick John Kamau and Emily Wanjiku Kamau.

Sister of the late Hon. Peter Muigai, Peter Magana, Jeni Kenyatta Gecaga, Kristina Kenyatta Pratt, His Excellency Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and Her the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, Nyokabi Kenyatta Muthama, Muhoho and Erica Kenyatta.

 

Grandmother to Njomo and Wangui Kamau, Ngwiri and Nyambura Kamau, Wambui (Bo) and Ben Maina. Great-grandmother to Eva Wanjiku and Ruth Kirigo, Arianna Wanjiku, Ryan Kamau, Adrienne Wanjiku and Jamie Kuriah.

 

She was the sister-in-law to Charity Gathoni, the late Sophia Wanjiru, Mary Wamuhu, the late Esther Njoki and Rachel Wanjiru. She was also a beloved Auntie, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Great-great-grandmother to many. She will be dearly missed. Family and friends are meeting at her home in Lavington. Funeral arrangements to be announced later.

Brother in law of Hon Muriuki Njagagua (MP Mbeere North), Clive Moore, Henry Kariuki and Mercy Mawira. Uncle of Cynthia, Fiona, Brian, Makena, Natasha, Allan, George, Kathleen, Angel, Murimi and Stanley. Son in law of the late Christopher Mbogo, Anastasia Waithera and Keziah Mbogo.
