Daughter of the late Henry Waithaka Mwendia & Hannah Njeri Waithaka of Rurii location, Ol-Kalou, Nyandarua County.

Mother of the late Ann Njeri, Veronicah Njeri Ndung’u (Nation Media Group) and Samson Kihara Ndung’u. Sister of Prophetess Mary W. Waithaka, Peter Mwendia, Sarah Mulinge (MBCI), James Kiragu, Jane Wangui, Pst. Stanley Kinga, Pst. Ruth Muthoni, Pst. Isaac Mwonjoria (Kingdom Seekers Fellowship Dandora) & Pst. Dan Wanjohi. She had many Cousins, Nephews, Nieces and In-laws. Grandma of Clyde Ndung’u Kihara and Serena Serah Baraka.

Family and friends are meeting at KAG East University Buruburu from 5:30P.m daily.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday 10/5/2017 at KAG East University Buruburu Chapel as from 12:00 Noon.

The burial will take place on Friday 12/5/2017.

Son of the late Booker Mbugua and the late Mary Njeri Mbugua. Husband of Grace Muthoni Githegi. Brother of the late David Gacheru, James Ngaruiya, the late Jane Wanjiru Kuguru, Allan Njoroge, Simon Ndungu, Geofrey Kariuki, the late Patrick Kamau.

Father of Rosemary and James Wainaina, Gladys Njoki, Moses and Loise Mbugua, Dr. Daniel and Mrs Irene Mukiri Githegi, Lucy Githegi, Annie Githegi, and Anthony and Linda Gacheru.

Loving grandfather of Anne-Louise Wainaina, Anthony Wainaina, Sam Wainaina, Muigai Kinothia, Wanjiku Kinothia, Sam and Zurah Mbugua, Grace Mbugua, Anthony Mbugua, Njambi Mbugua, Alistair Mukiri, Noni Mukiri, Tamara Waweru, Tatiana Waweru, Adrian Ngaruiya, Christine Gacheru and Laura Gacheru. Prayers are being held daily at Barua Estate from 4pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 16th May 2017 at 9am. The funeral service will be held at PCEA Kasarani Church, Paradise Lost Road, off Kiambu Road at 10.30am followed by burial at the same venue.

Our matriarch has rested from her labours in this world. She will be dearly missed by her large, loving and much-loved family, now that she has joined many who have gone before her.

Daughter of the late Zakayo Kwendo and the late Damaris Oyando Kwendo of Ebwali village, Vihiga County. Daughter-in-law of the late Nyairo Nyasae and the late Sarah Kerubo Nyairo of Gesusu village, Kisii County. Sister of the late Rhoda Nyawino, the late Honourable Eric Edward Khasakhala, Nashon Ndale, Janet Masaba, the late Joshua Buliro, the late Betty Imbira, the late Alice Makokha and Florence Achala. Mother of Ruth Reed, Al Nyairo, Tom Nyairo and Trudy Nyairo. Mother-in law of Mark Reed, Elena Nyairo and Dr. Patricia Nyairo. Grandmother of Cameron, Michael, Lani, Zachary and Eli.

We announce with deep sorrow the untimely death of Crystal Ogake Arasa, a computer science student at JKUAT, Juja Campus, which occurred on 28th April, 2017 in India while undergoing treatment. Beloved daughter of Geoffrey Arasa (KPC) and Sarah Arasa (IKM Advocates), adoring sister of Faith Moraa Arasa (UoN), Granddaughter of Peter Mokua and Eunice Nyabairo and the late Henry Mochache, Birtha Nyanchama and late Truphosa Ogake. Niece of the Mokuas and the Mochaches.
