Samuel Githegi Mbugua
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Samuel Githegi Mbugua of Barua Estate Kiambu Road on the 7th of May 2017.
Son of the late Booker Mbugua and the late Mary Njeri Mbugua. Husband of Grace Muthoni Githegi. Brother of the late David Gacheru, James Ngaruiya, the late Jane Wanjiru Kuguru, Allan Njoroge, Simon Ndungu, Geofrey Kariuki, the late Patrick Kamau.
Father of Rosemary and James Wainaina, Gladys Njoki, Moses and Loise Mbugua, Dr. Daniel and Mrs Irene Mukiri Githegi, Lucy Githegi, Annie Githegi, and Anthony and Linda Gacheru.
Loving grandfather of Anne-Louise Wainaina, Anthony Wainaina, Sam Wainaina, Muigai Kinothia, Wanjiku Kinothia, Sam and Zurah Mbugua, Grace Mbugua, Anthony Mbugua, Njambi Mbugua, Alistair Mukiri, Noni Mukiri, Tamara Waweru, Tatiana Waweru, Adrian Ngaruiya, Christine Gacheru and Laura Gacheru. Great grandfather of Mbugua Githegi.
Prayers are being held daily at Barua Estate from 4pm.
The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 16th May 2017 at 9am. The funeral service will be held at PCEA Kasarani Church, Paradise Lost Road, off Kiambu Road at 10.30am followed by burial at the same venue.
