It is with profound sadness, but humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing to glory of Colonel (Rtd) Stephen Mbuthia Waititu on Thursday, 4th May 2017 in Nakuru after a short illness bravely borne.

Son to the late Jackson Waititu Mukuna and the late Joyce Nyakinyua; Loving husband to Irene Njeri Mbuthia; Dedicated and devoted Father to Jackson Waititu, the late Geoffrey- Gitere, Joyce Ngala, James Mukuna and Josephine Wairimu. Father-in-law to Pauline Nyambura Waititu, Pst.Tobbias Ngala and Sylvia Wanza Mukuna. Grandfather to Christopher Gitonga Waititu, Jayden Mbuthia Waititu, Lulu Ngala and Amani Ngala. Brother to the late James Mwangi, Eunice Muriu, Mary Wangui and Veronica Waititu. Brother-in-law to Peter Wakomo, Gladys Gioche, Pst Francis Kariro, Esther Mwangi, Edward Mwangi, Mary Wanjiku, Isabella Gitere, the late Priscilla Nyambura, Lydia Nyokabi Mwangi, Elizabeth Mumbi Mwangi and the late Muriu Kamau. Stepbrother, Cousin, Uncle, Grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his home in Mwariki East (Nakuru). There shall be one meeting in Nairobi at All Saint’s Cathedral on Tuesday, 9th May 2017 from 6:00pm.

The funeral service shall be held on Thursday, 11^th May 2017 at CITAM Nakuru followed by burial at his home in Mwariki East.
