Born 09/09/1948 Died 30/04/2017 It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lucy Njeri Thiong’o, formerly of Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC).
Daughter of the late Patrick Thiong’o Nginyaiyu and the late Hannah Wahu. Mother of Carol Wahu Thiong’o. Sister of the late Sarah Wambui, Teresia Nyokabi, the late Michael Kahihu, the late Teresia Wairimu, the late George Ndung’u and Solomon Kuria.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at South B, Karuko Road, Karuko Court Two, Golden gate, hse No. 31 I and also at Kanungaga Village, Riruta at 6pm daily.
The Cortege will leave Mater Hospital, on Wednesday 10 /5/2017 at 9.00 am for a funeral service at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish South B.
The burial will take place at Lang’ata. Cemetery at 1.00pm. There will be a Harambee on Saturday 6/5/17 at 2.00pm at South B, Karuko Road, Karuko court, Goldeng ate Two, hse No.311 at 2pm to raise funds to clear the hospital bill.

Brother-in-law of Michael !bongo of Ting’ang’a, Stephen Gakuo (Norken), Isaiah Ngotho (Gikomba) among others. Uncle of many and grandfather of Kyla Wangeci.
Family and friends are meeting at his home Kiwanja (Lower Membley), Tumaini House 5th floor Moi Avenue from Tuesday 2nd May, from 6:00 pm and Pefa House Gikomba for prayers and funeral arrangements at 3.00pm daily. The Church Memorial service will be held on Tuesday 9th May 2017 at St. Joseph of Arimathea Thome, next to USIU at 2.00pm. The cortege will leave Kenyatta Funeral home on Saturday, 13th 2017, at 8:00 am for funeral service and burial at their home in Gitweku village , Kiharu Constituency, Murang’a county.

Sister of Alice Nyaguthi, Kang’ethe Thuku (County Commissioner Kakamega), David Mwangi Thuku, Alex Chege Thuku (MD All Seasons Safaris & Tours), Jamleck Gitee Thuku, Samuel Waweru Thuku (K.T.D.A MS), Nancy Njeri Thuku and Beatrice Mwihaki Thuku. After 40 years of zest, love, joy, aspiration, setbacks, heartaches and disappointments — all in equal measure – Mzili took his final (though abrupt) bow from this crazy world on 2nd May 2017.
His gentle, warm and loving soul leaves behind many shattered hearts, chief amongst them, Clive Mutiso Snr. (Dad), Margaret Muthoni (Mom), Clive Cetewayo Mutiso and Clive Mshweshwe Mutiso (Brothers), Hellen Lynn Tino and Roseline Eunice Anya (Sisters). His endearing personality will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunties, in-laws and friends. Thereafter, his immediate family and close friends will proceed for a private incremation ceremony.
1937-1987 Dad 30 years on a bright beautiful Wednesday Morning, Darkness filled our eyes as we watched you take the last breath at bedside. Time can change many things but not the memory this day brings. We think of you in silence and no eye may see us weep, but many silent tears are shed when others are fast asleep.You gave us gifts both great and small but most of all you gave us love the greatest gift. Down here we mourn, not in vain, for up in heaven we will meet again. Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through we will always love and remember you, Dad.
