It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce
the sudden demise of Margaret Pamela Akumu (Formerly of Moi University, Eldoret) on 29th April, 2017. Daughter of the Late Isaac Awinyo and the Late Mama Yuanita Ongech Awinyo of Kisumu Karateng’, Nyawita village. Step daughter to Rosemary Awinyo. Sister to the late Perez Akoth, the late Sellah Node Okumu, Philip Osok Awinyo, the late James Auma Awinyo, Tabitha Achieng Onjoro, jeniffer Atieno Opiche, late fy Francis Kibwana Awinyo, Late Frederick Onyango Awinyo, late Dickson Otieno, John Ayieke among others. Cousin to Richard Osir, Joshua Osir, Mary Akumu, Margaret Juma, Grace Atieno, Ben Ogola, Willis Osir, John Osir late Hon Joab Omino, Dan Omino, Mary Omollo, Henry Ogola, Chrisptopher Metho, John Abok. Sister in law to Nellie Osok, Margaret Auma, Elizabeth Kibwana, late Herine Onyango among others. Dear aunty and grandmother to many. Friends, relatives and well-wishers are meeting daily at her residence in Kapkoros (Umoja), Eldoret.There will be a major funds drive to cater for funeral expenses at her home in Nyawita Village on Sunday 7th May, 2017 and another one on  Tuesday 9th May starting 5.00 pm at her residence in Kapkoros (Umoja), Eldoret.The cortege will depart from Eldoret to her home in Nyawita Village, Karateng’ in Kisumu on 12th May 2017, and burial will be conducted on Saturday 13th May, 2017 starting at 10.00am.
