Wife of the late James Matiru Kamande of Manguo-Gitogothi Village, Limuru. Loving mother of Beatrice Wanjiku, George Kamande and Peter Mwangi. Grandmother of Sabrina Njoki Heck, Zorina Nyambura Champsi, Mohammed Champsi, Stanley Matiru Kamande, Matiru Mwangi and Njoki Mwangi. Great grandmother of Alia Wanjiku Heck and Isaac Stephen Heck. Sister of the late Joram Maim., the late Hannah Njeri and the late Gaciku. Mother-in-law of Ownali Champsi, Margaret Wangui Kamande and Wanjiku Mwangi.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Manguo-Gitogothi daily at 4.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangement. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Saturday 6th May 2017 at 9.00am for Church Service at P.C.E.A Jeremiah Gitau Memorial Church Kamirithu. ‘Thereafter the burial will take place at her home in Manguo Gitogothi Village
