Loving wife of Nelson Muange Masai and loving daughter of the late Wambua Kinyao and Muthei Wambua. Daughter in-law of late Masai Maei and Muthei Masai, Step daughter in-law of Nzakwa Masai, Mother of Josephine Nthamba,Mary Mukulu,Lydiah Muthama,Veronicah Jamhuri,Frank Muange,Carol Mutindi and Stephen Muange. Mother in-law of Winfred Simba (Kinanie Primary), Winfred Muinde,Kimanzi Maithya,Stanley Mbinda, Philip Mainga and Ben Nganda. Grandmother and great grandmother of many. Sister of Florence Mathembo,Nzyoka Wambua,Ndunge Watuka among others. Sister in-law of late Mumbua Mutisya,late Mwangangi Masai,Grace Nzula Kilundo,late Kieti Masai and Mwethya Maithya. Aunt of Samsom Mutisya,Jackson Kilundo,Nzyuko Kieti,Nzomo Kieti,Bishop Maithya and Peter Mwangangi.

Funeral arrangements are being held at home Muumandu and Nyayo Stadium Cafeteria (Nairobi). The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos on Saturday 1st July, 2017 at 10:00am for a funeral service and burial at her home,  Muumandu village, Lumbwa location, Machakos County.

Mother of James Githegi Nduati, Mrs. Margaret Wangeci Mwangi, the late Erastus Karanu Nduati, Pius Mungai Nduatih, Patrick Karanja Nduati, Joseph Mwangi Nduati, the late Peter Mwaniki Nduati and Andrew Macharia Nduati. Sister of Phyllis Muthoni Karanu and the late Virginia Wangeci Muturi. Mother-in-law of Mary Nyambura Githegi, Joseph Mwangi Ngema, Maria Wangeci Mungai, Esther Wanjiru Mwangi, Benedeta Kabura Mwaniki and Agnes Njeri Macharia. Aunt, grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Son of the late Samuel Njogu Karanja and the late Esther Nungari loving husband of Agnes Wangari, Mburu. Brother of Boniface Boro Karanja, the late John Muthiga Kariuki, the late Joseph Gitau, and the late Dorothy Nyakariu. Doting father of Fredrick Karanja Mburu (MWEA), the late Martin Muchai Mburu, Esther Nungari of Muthuri Primary School, Catherine Njeri Muthike (Nairobi), Edward Njoroge Mburu (Mombasa), Pauline Njoki Ithong (Mombasa), and grandfather of many.

Friends and family are meeting daily from 4pm at his residence in Kiairia Village Githuguri to plan for his burial.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home on Friday 30th June at 8:00am for the funeral service at Saint Patrick ,Catholic chuch Kiairia and burial will follow thereafter at his home Kiairia Githuguri.

Father to Alpha Atemesia of St. Ann’s-Mumias, Beta Jarateng of St. Mary’s Academy-Jacaranda, Leon Oguta of Miteitei Boys and Gammar. Brother to Evans Oguta and Irene Oguta. Grandson to the late Christopher Ogalo Oito and Hellen Ogalo. Cousin to Willis, Moses, Bernard, Rose, Kennedy, Lucy, Janet, Sela, Kevin, Robert, Eric and Mercy. Nephew to Eng.Atonga of KPA and the late Odero Onam.

Sister of the late Akala Meja, the late John Meja, the late Ruth Obanda Kidenda, the late Hellen Majale, the late Paul Muruka, the late Margaret Meja, and the late Florence Meja-Nasoro.

Wife of the late John Alushula (Dherema) of Ebukambuli in Ilala village, Khwisero Sub-County, Kakamega County. Mother of Rosebella Atemo, Anthony Arunga, the late Lynnette Anyonje, Stephen Litunya, the late Rachel Ameso, Tom Meja, Anglo Alushula, and Sarah Lidia.

Sister-in-law of Wilson Indimuli, Lloyd Arunga, Joyce Wameyo, Malack Akollo, Julius Arunga, Hosborne Ongoli, Fred Litunya, Philip Obanda, Davis Wodenyo, Joseph Arunga, the late Hellen Ayieko, the late Clive Nabongo, the late Leonida Ambundo, the late Elizabeth Kayo and their siblings. Co-wife of Dorothy Wodenyo, Luciana Malack, Philice Indimuli, and Rose Malika Arunga who cared closely for her until her final breath. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, 33grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The cortege will leave St. Mary’s Hospital Mumias on June 29, 2017 at 11.00. This will be followed by a Church Service at St. John’s Church – Mukhombe. Burial will be on Saturday July 1, 2017 at her home in Ilala Ebukambuli, Khwisero, Kakamega County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Winfred Milka Wangui Gichuhi Kahenya which occurred on 24th June 2017 after a short sickness bravely borne. She was the former wife of Bernard Kibet Koech. Loving mother to Debbie, Nissi and Victoria. Daughter of John Gichuhi Kahenya and the late Serah Nyawira Gichuhi Kahenya and Harriet Warnuyu Gichuhi. Sister to Rose Wambui Gichuhi, Maureen Wanjiku Gichuhi and Samuel Kahenya Gichuhi and a loving cousin to many.

The cortege will leave P.C.E.A. Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary on 29th June 2017 at 10 a.m. and the burial will take place thereafter at P.C.E.A. Kikuyu Hospital Public Cemetery next to Alliance Girls High School starting from 11a.m.

The cortege leaves Mary Immaculate Hospital, Mweiga on Friday 30th June 2017 at 9am for burial proceedings at the Family farm in Ngobit, Laikipia from 11am where she shall be laid to rest.
