It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Simon Gikuiyu Kamau. Son of the late Kamau waWanguru and Mariamu Kabura. Husband of Eunice Njeri Gikuiyu of Kiambogo, Longonot. Beloved father of Joseph Kamau, formely of Ban shoe company Ltd, Minneh Muthoni(Eldoret), Lucy Njoki (Maragua), the late Francis Kamiti, David Mungai of (Sirare), James Karanja (Eidoret), Mary Kanuthu (Teacher in Naivasha), John Kuria(Limuru) and Isaac Mwangi (Agrichem Africa Ltd). Brother of the late Mungai, the late Daniel Kimani, the late Muthoni Waruru and the late David Kariuki of Kinungi. Step brother of the late Mungai Kamau, the late Ndungu Kamau, the late Kuira Kamau and others. Son-inalaw of Kamiti Ndua. Grandfather of Eunice Nieris, Simon Gikuiyus and others. Step father of Mwalimu Clement Kimani, Mwalimu Gidraf Kuira and others.

Family and friends are meeting at his resident at Kiambogo, Longonot/Mwisho wa rami daily from 5:00pm for prayers and burial arrangements. The cortege leaves Uplands funeral home Friday 23rd June 2017 at 8:00am thereafter, burial at his place Longonot/Mwisho wa rami.
