It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hannah Wanjiru Njuguna which occurred on 16th July 2017.

Wife of Peter Njuguna Karanja (Thairu). Mother of Salome Nambui Kamau (KNH), Lucy Wairimu Chege (Nakuru Gen. Hospital), Mary Wanjiku Mundia (Loitokitok), Simon Karanja (Evade), Daniel Ng’ang’a (Nairobi Bottlers Ltd), Moses Gitau (Botanical Extracts Athiriver) and Jane Wacera (Ministry of livestock Nyeri). Sister of Grace Wacera, Joseph Ndungu and the late Ben Gatoho.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home Waithaka, Dagoretti from 6:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves P.C.E.A Kikuyu Mortuary on Tuesday 25th July 2017 at 9:00am for holy mass at St. Jude Catholic Church Kabiria at 11:00am. Burial will take place at her home in Waithaka Dagoretti near AMREF at 2:00 pm.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our dearly beloved Mr. Paul Ng’ang’a Wainaina on 15th July 2017.

Son of the lateJoseph Wainaina Gicheha and the late Hannah Wambui. Beloved husband of Joan Njoki Ng’ang’a. Father of Charles Wainaina and Victoria Wainaina, Ivan Ngaruiya and Teresia Ngaruiya, Ronald Gicheha and Esther Gicheha and Michael Muchai.The ever loving Grandfather of Ivy Njoki Wainaina, Shanice Ngaruiya, Paul Ngaruiya, Joan Gicheha, Aaron Gicheha, Ryan Muchai & Kyla Mucha’. Brother of the late Stephen Gicheha, the late Stanley Ndirangu, Samule Ngugi, David Wanyutu, Grace Wanja Theuri, Jane Heta Kamau and the late Charles Njuguna.

Meetings are being held daily at his residence in Thome starting from 6pm & at Bogie View Restaurant Ruiru Town. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home on Tuesday 25th July 2017 at 7:30 am for a funeral service at His Gatundu Residence, Makohoko, Miiri, Gatundu North and burial at the same place.

Mr. James Mmata Ligekisa

1/6/1960-8/7/2017  We regret to announce the death of Mr. James Mmata Ligekisa formerly working with Kenya Meteorological Department at Kakamega Meteorological Station.Son of the late David Ligechi and the mama Mizira J. Ligechi. Husband of Pamela Vuguza Amata. Father of Silvya Nyagoha Amata. Brother of the late Elisha Adego, Shadrack Mihava, Florence Mmboga, the late Samuel Ambani, the late Henry Angaya, Major Judith Nyagoha of Salvation Army and Wyccliffe Kamadi. Uncle of Dominic Ambani, David, Givosi, Beatrice Salanwa, Walter Ehendera,Wilson Kidagisa among others.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Hospital Mortuary on 20th July 2017. Mr. Mmata will be laid to rest on 22nd July 2017 at Vihiga County, Mbale in Mbihi Sub-location.

Eliud Ndung’u Wainaina

Three years ago the lord called you to his glory, for us it seems like yesterday.We thank you for the legacy you left us with. We remember you for the great example you gave as a parent, grandfather,uncle and as a friend. Formerly the Group Financial Controller of  the Pacific Group of companies (Pacific Insurance (EA) Brokers Ltd and First Reinsurance Brokers Ltd).

He was the son of Samuel Kagwe and Cecilia Wainoi. Son-in-law
to Francis Gichine and Margaret Wamuyu. Husband to Edith Njoki.
Father of Prudence Wainoi and Ethan Kagwe. Brother to Thomas Karimi and Gilbert Nyamu. Brother-in- law to Purity Nyambura, Morris Mbaki and Gerald Gatuthu.

Meetings are going on at his home Utawala, St. Andrews Church and
at his fathers home. The Burial will take place on 21st July 2017, at
his father’s home Kiambangathi Village, Mukure Location, Kirinyaga
County.

Brother of Simon Githinji (Kiserian) and Wanjiku Mwaniki (Matuto) and the late Thiong’o, Gichuki, Gathogo, Wanja and Kiiru. Uncle of Gituros and Kigothos of Mbari ya Thairu, Mutahi,Wahome, Eutecus (Euty),Wanja (Narok) and Macharia (Nrb) among others. The cortege leaves Tumutumu Mission Mortuary on Saturday, 22nd July, 2017 at 9: 00 a.m. for a funeral service and burial at his home in Gatiko.
