Rose Ondego Oburu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Rose Ondego Oburu; of the Kenya Consulate Los Angels (USA) which occurred on 25th June 2017 after a long battle with cancer.

Daughter of the late Isaac Oburu Ngire and Mama Mary Akumu Oburu of Sakwa Kowak, Nyawita.

Wife of Samuel Andar Abogi. Mother of Beryl Achieng’, Linda Atieno Abogi, Brian Oburu Abogi, Elizabeth Akinyi, Sally Abogi, Daninah Adhiambo, Maryanne Atieno, Janet Anyango, the late Moses Ocholla Abogi and Jackline Achieng. Sister of the late Jane Oburu, Ruth Oburu, Malaki Oburu, Esther Ojuok, the late Jerusha Oburu, the late Angeline Oburu, the late John Oburu, Jael Akello Adem, Pricilla Raila, Keziah Aoko. Mother-in-law of Samuel Aoma Ougo, Elijah Omolo, Pastor Nehemiah Onyango, Kevin Kolek and Eunice Awino Ocholla. Grandmother of Yvonne Adhiambo Ougo, John Kerry Ougo, Stephen Otieno, Maryline Akinyi Ougo, Phanice Ocholla Tevin Abogi Mihael Osweta, Glen Abogi, Precious Valentine, Delan Abogi among others.

The body is lying at Lee Funeral Home. There will be a major fundraising harambee on 13th July 2017 at the All Saints Cathedral.

Burial will be on 22nd July 2017 at South Asembo, Nyagoko sub-location.
