The family of Muindi regrets to announce with profound sadness the sudden passing of Retired Councillor Mzee James Muindi Mutiso (Matata Nzame) — Proprietor Muumo Tyre Dealers (K) on Friday 7/7/2017.

Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mutiso Kisaa, Loving husband of Mary Mueni Muindi. Father of Jackson Kisaa(Nrb), Florence Muindi (Merwest ltd), Catherine Nthemba(Nrb), Charles Kangi (Nrb) and Susan Katumbi (Parapet). Father-in-law of Hellena Kisaa, Everlyn Nduku, Dominic Komu and Alfred Mutiso (Multiple Solutions). Grandfather of Antonny Kisaa (CHS-Kenya), Jane Kendi (Office of the Governor-Machakos), Boniface Muindi, Felix Muthiani (UoN), Marylynne Mueni (CUEA), Francis Mwongela, Jimmy Muindi, Edward Mutunga, Jimmy Kyalo, Diana Ndinda, Maryann Mueni, Joseph Muthoka, Lucky Brian Kangi and Connan -Mwinzi. Great grandpa of Ellena Ngina and Kimberley Mutheu.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Holy Family Basilica (St. Kizito Hall) from 5.30pm for funeral arrangements. There shall be a fundraising on Thursday 13/7/2017 at the same venue.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Saturday 15/7/2017 to Ilawani Catholic Church for prayers and thereafter mass and burial the same day at his homestead Kithiiani Village, Klima Kiu location, Kilome constituency, Makueni County.
