We regret to announce the sudden death of Simeon Obiero Ndubi (Amachiko) that occurred on Saturday 8th July 2017.

Loving husband of Jane Gesora and father of Martha Bochaberi, Shadrack Nyabero (Boy), Mary Kemunto, Irene Kwamboka, Vinic Muro, Eznah Moraa and Maureen Osiri. Son of the late Antanasi Ndubi and the late Maria Kemunto Ndubi. He hails from Konate village, Siamani sub-location, Bonyamatuta Chache location, Nyamira County.

Brother of Chrysanthus Mokoro, Seraphine Obino, the late Nyaboke Mwita, Lucia Agasa, Anna Ayiecha, John Ndubi and Priscah Gisemba. Step son of Rebecca Obonyo. Step brother of late Josephine, Nyaboke, Vincent, Bilha, Kireki, Apoko, Nyakundi, Maria, Andrew and late Geke. He is survived by 15 grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Nyamira Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 20th July 2017 at 3 pm and the burial will take place on Friday 21st July 2017 at his home in Konate village.

Meetings and prayers are ongoing at Garden Square Nairobi and his home in Kiimani village Masinga, and Masinga market everyday as from 17/7/2017 to 20/7/2017. The cortege leaves Muthale Mission Hospital Mortuary Kitui on 21/7/2017 at 8.00a.m. for a funeral service and burial at his home in kwa King’oli village, dovoini Sub-location in Masinga sub-county of Machakos County.

Loving father of Olga Aduma (Maseno University), Elizabeth Wasonga (Maseno University), Rael Aduma (Ahero Girls), Jaleen Onyango (USA), Bruno Aduma (County Government of Kisumu), Catherine Aduma (USA), Joel Ragen (USIU-Africa). Father-in-law of Daniel Wasonga Nyabera (Yemen) and Bobby Onyango (Austria). Grandfather of Ines, Becca, Renice, Kendra,Wesly and Philip. Brother of Eunice Okoth, the late Janet Atieno, Alice Ouma, Mary Ouko and Ainea Ragen (AZO). Brother-in-law of the late Margaret Oriaso, Ogot Achuodho, Juliana Opiyo, late Gor Achuodho, Grace, Okach Achuodho, Philida and Joyce, the late Captain Mike Oriaso, Dr Opiyo Odero and Joseph Ouma.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in, Withur, Kano Kabonyo for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 20th July at 11.30 am, for a church service at HTCA Cathedral Shauri Moyo. Thereafter the cortege leaves for his home in Withur Division, Kadibo Sub-location, Kisumu County for an overnight vigil followed by the burial on 21st July 2017.

The ever loving Grandfather of Ivy Njoki Wainaina, Shanice Ngaruiya, Paul Ngaruiya, Joan Gicheha, Aaron Gicheha, Ryan Muchai & Kyla Muchai. Brother of the late Stephen Gicheha, the late Stanley Ndirangu, Samule Ngugi, David Wanyutu, Grace Wa.nja Theuri, Jane Heta Kamau and the late Charles Njuguna.

Meetings are being held daily at his residence in Thome starting from 6pm & at Bogie View I Restaurant Ruiru Town. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home on Tuesday 25th July 2017 at 7:30 am for a funeral service at his Gatundu Residence, Makohoko, Miiri, Gatundu North and burial at the same place.

 1918-2017

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rachel Muthoni Stephen that occurred on 12th July 2017.

Daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Mwanu. Wife of late Stephen Magambo Mungiiria. Sister of late Kathuguci, Kiacia and late Kanyua.  Mother of Tom & late Prof. Ciriaka Kithinji,  Lucy & late Mbae, Teresa & Dr. Riungu,Wanja  & Munyugi, late Angelo, late Nkoroi, late  Vivian, late John, Ceasar & Catherine, late  Florence and Luke & Kate.Stepmother of Kinoti, Nduuru, Marangu and Kawira. She is survived by 25 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves KU Mortuary on Friday 21st July 2017 at 6:00am for requiem mass commencing 10am at Mary Queen of the Rosary Gaturi Catholic Church, Abogeta location, South Imenti Meru County. The burial will take place immediately thereafter at her home.

One year ago, you left us on your heavenly  journey which we all must do one day. While we dearly miss your presence, we are so grateful that you brought us up strictly and instilled valuable lessons in our lives that are still so fresh in our memories even now.
