Son of the late Bernard Thangei and the Late Mary Mukami Thangei. Son-in-Law to Nancy Wangui. Loving husband of Dina Wairimu Wahome. Father to Felix Thangei, Sheila Mukami & Nancy Wangui. Beloved brother to the Late Joseph Githegi, the late Peter Kanyugi, Erastus Kamunya, Patrick & Esther Munyiri, Nancy and Justice Samuel Mukunya, Lydia & Christopher Karue, James & Mary Murathimi, the Late Lucy Ngima & Richard Waheire, Rose & Bernard Suyianka, Jackson & Esther Karuoya and Alex & Doris Ngatia.

Family and friends are meeting at Sagret Hotel (Milimani) at 6.00 p.m. from Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th July 2017.

The cortege leaves Nanyuki Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 11th July 2017 at 8.00a.m. for funeral service and burial at his home at Magutu, Nanyuki, Laikipia County.
