Albert Kathigah Njeru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Albert Kathigah Njeru on 24th June 2017 after a brave battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Anne Muthoni Kathigah. Father of Moses Gitonga, the late Polycarp Muchangi (Meja), Leakey Murangiri and Victor Collins Kiminja. Father-in-law of Agnes Furaha Gitonga and Purity Murangiri. Son of the late Njeru Nginyane and Phidelis Kanini Njeru and step-son of the late Rael Njeru, brother of the late Jadiel Njagi, F. Kariuki, C. Njue, P Kinyua, C. Kariuki, F. Njagi and B. Muturi, the late Judy Kina, L. Njeri, R.Thaara, M.Njoki, J. MUtini and FThaara. Uncle of C. Wawira, J. Mwende, L. Karimi, A.Karimi, C. Murimi, David Njeru, Dennis Njeru, D. Gitonga, D. Gitonga, I. Muriithi, J. Wagenci, T. Muthoni, Nyakio, Subira, Mugendi, Mukami, E. Muchiri, Ken, Susan, Grandfather of Yvonne,Wise, Leon, Liam.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Muthatari home from 4.30pm for funeral arrangements and prayers. Nairobi meetings are taking place at Hot Dishes restaurant, Kaunda Street from 5.30pm with the final meeting being today 5th July 2017.

The cortege leaves Kyeni Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 7th July 2017 at 8:00am for funeral service and burial at his home at Muthatari, Embu.
