It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Gaylord after tragic accident on Langata Southern Bypass road.

Beloved partner to Joyce Kinyua and father of Selina Melti Okinda. Son of John Melti Okinda and Selina Okinda. Brother of James, the late Kimida, Lilian, the late Christine, Emily, Ruth, Oscar, Kenneth, Derrerrick, Donald, Karen, Mercy, Joseph, Rose, Victor. Nephew of Fredrick, Omach, Agatha, Josephine, Juliana, Odinga, Felistas, Tom Mboya among others. Cousin of Robert, Alloys jnr, Haggai, Tom, Praxedes, Nicholas, Oswald, Dennis, Dorah, Esther, Diana, Roy, Cindy, Jeff, among others.

Family is meeting daily from 5.30pm at his resident Langata Uhuru Gardens phase 2 hse no 1668 and Vesba Eatery, Development house.

A fundraiser would be held on Tuesday the 3rd at Railways club from 5pm. A Requiem mass will be held at Umash Chapel on Thursday the 5th from 7am.

Wife of Ezekiel Ogenche. Mother of Marion, Davies, Erique & Ruth. Grandmother of lan, Amanda, Bryce, Ayden & Jabali. Daughter of the late Peter Oanda & Yunuke Kerubo. Daughter-in-law of late Dickson Ogenche & Abigael Nyatichi. Sister of the Oanda’s & sister-in-law of the Ogenche’s.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Kiserian, Kunde rd. There will be a fundraiser on Sunday 01.10.2017 at her residence at 2p.m. Burial will be on 06.10.2017 at Kiserian.

We are saddened to announce the death of our beloved Leon Munene Linchuni a student at Macumo Secondary School, following a tragic road accident on 24/09/2017.

Beloved son of Carol Mumbi Njue & Andrew Ibung’a Linchuni. Dotting brother of Precious Muthoni Linchuni.

Grandson of Florence Wakina Fundi and Albert Njue Mavutta and lmbunga Linchuni & the late jerusha Kang’ondu. Nephew of Ben Mavutta, Liz Mavutta, Bob Nyaga & Claire Mavutta and many others. Leon leaves behind many cousins and friends.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral home on Tuesday 3rd October 2017 at 9 am for the burial at the family home at Ugweri, Embu County.

Nephew of Erastus Muniu, Dr Ng’ang’a, Karanja Muniu, Ndungu Muniu, Patrick Muriuki, Pst. Micheal Ndathu, John Kabare, George Kabare, Maina Muniu, John Kimani, Rosalind Wanyagi, Agnes Gikonyo, Kiruka Kabare, Lydiah Kunga, Teresiah Maina (USA),Grace Kiragu among others and Cousin of many. Funeral home on Saturday 30th Sept 2017 at 7:00AM for funeral service & burial at his home in Mbugiti village, Gatanga, Muranga County near Ngere Tea Factory.

Father-in-law of the late James Kamangu, Jane Wairimu Kaigua, Francis Mwaura Kimiri, Francis Njoroge Kamau (Gatundu), Josphat Kabatha (Ol-Kalau), Margaret Wambui Nganga, Naomi Njeri Kinuthia. Grand father, great grand father and great great grand father of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his residence (Kiambururu). The cortege leaves the Kenyatta University Mortuary at 9.00 a.m. on Friday 29th September 2017 for the funeral service which will be held at Kiambururu PCEA Kiburi Thumbi II Church at 11.00 a.m and burial thereafter at his farm next to the church.
