Son of the late Mbeere and late Kemunto.Husband of the late Milka Kwamboka and late Florence Bosibori. Father of Moses [Solai], Veronica [Rioma], Orangi [Kebirigo], Koska Tinega [KTDA Eberege], Raphael [DIP Nyakenyomisia Sec], Samwel, Sarah [Nsicha PH], Isaac [Eberege], Daniel [Eng. Embu], Isaiah, Zachaeus and Joseph. Brother of the late Ongwae, Omwando [Mpeketoni], the late Mokua and late Obwori. Father-in-law of Joyce, Grace, Edinah, Emily, Jackie, Mary, Marggy and Dorothy. Grandfather of 31 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Nyangena Hospital Mortuary on 28th September 2017 at noon for reception mass at St. Johns Nyagena church. The burial will take place at his home Nyamonge village (Nasari Market) on Friday 29th September 2017.

Sister of Mutegi Ndii, the late Harriet Kaburi, Joyce Mbaka, Franklin Mbuba Ndii (formerly of Kenya Utalii College and Director of Tourism Finance Corporation) and Evelyn Mbae. Meetings are taking place at St Andrews Church Nairobi on 27th, 28th September and 3rd, 4th October 2017 and daily at Legacy Hotel Chuka and at her Mwiki home daily from 5.00 pm. Funeral   service will take place at P.C.E.A St John Church Kimuchia on Friday 6th October 2017 from 10.00am and burial thereafter at her Mwiki home .
