It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Henry Nyabuto Ntageka, a teacher at Entanda secondary school, after a short battle with cancer of the oesophagus.

Son of the late Dismas Ntageka and the late Faustina Moraa Ntageka. Loving husband of Pamella Nabwire Nyabuto. Father of Davies Gechume, Derrick Machongo and Caren Kemunto. Brother of the late Dominic Moronge and Esther Kerubo. Brother-in-law of Sinicar Kerindo, Aaron Mogaka, the late Tiberius, Ken, Rev Father Marcellus, Prisca, Mediatrix and Wen.

Cousin of Angeline Kerubo, Daniel Ogero, Ann Oderi and Antony Areri. Uncle of Dennis, Nancy, Valentine, Faith, Josephat, Leah, Enosh, Damaris and Isabellah. Grandfather of Fadhili, Nathan, Faizal, Faraj, Lateciah, Emmanuel,Aiden, Darrel and Nillan.

The cortege leaves Bosongo mortuary on Thursday 1st Feb 2018 for a night vigil at his rural family home, at Bomeroga Village, Nyakoe location, Kitutu Chache South sub-county, Kisii County.

He will be laid to rest on Friday 2nd February 2018 at his family home.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta university Mortuary on Friday 2nd  February 2018 at 8am. Burial will be at Gati-iguru Gatanga, Murang’a county.

It’s with deep sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our dear mum Christine Lotonia Loyor (Mrs Epetet) – Nurse (retired) Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club Nanyuki which occurred on Saturday 27th January 2018 at Nairobi West Hospital after a long illness.

Daughter of the late Daniel Loyor and Maria Lotome. Wife of the late Lt.Col (retired) Lobeki Epetet – Air Force Moi Air Base Nairobi. Sister of Rhoda, the late Angeline, the late Rita, Mark, the late Edward and James. Daughter-in-law of the late Epetet Lokosio and the late Kamais Manikwar. Sister-in-law of Joseph, Nicholas, Lomutukai, Dennis, Maria & Florence.

Mother of Maureen Kamais-Technology Today Ltd Nairobi – Edna Lobeki-Australia, Alvina Imana-Lottos Inn Hotel Nairobi, Kennedy Epetet-Strathmore University Nairobi and Sammy Lobeki. Mother-in-law of Lucas and Rolland. Grandmother of Ellyne, Riley and Tyler. Aunt of Lawrence. Jessica, Geoffrey, Sylvia, Billy, Tony, Teresa. Anastacia, Rose, Elizabeth, Dismas, Garvin, Dankan, Jackline, Milka, Allan, Concy & Erukudi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their home in Muthaiga Estate, Nanyuki and Ibis Hotel-Nanyuki at 6pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nairobi West Hospital on Friday 2nd February 2018 at 10.00am for a requiem mass at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, Laikipia Air Base, Nanyuki same day at 3pm and thereafter a night vigil at her home in Muthaiga estate, Nanyuki.

The funeral service and burial shall be on Saturday 3rd February 2018 at 10.00am at her farm in Nkando-Kangaita, Nanyuki.

Mama Anna Akech Odindo went to be with the Lord at dawn on Monday January 29, 2018, after a gallant fight with kidney failure.

Wife of the late Dominic Odindo Adiala of Nyaharwa, North-West Ugenya, Siaya County. Daughter of the late Paul Yonga and Matilda Nyasie and sister of Norbert Ochola Yonga. Mother of Mary and David Konje, Elizabeth and Athanas Mballa, Rose and Sammy Binge, Joseph and Dorothy Odindo, Agnes and the late Paul Odinah, Gerald and Lucy Odindo, Fransisca Odindo and Fred and Jacinta Odindo. Co-wife of Irene Onyango and Phyllis Akuku and step-mother of the late Anthony Ochieng and Majorie Akoth, among others. Loving auntie of John Yonga and Prof. Gerald Yonga among others. She had 17 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and was the loving auntie, sister-in-law and guardian of many.

Funeral meetings will be held from 5.30pm at the All saints Cathedral today (Wednesday), tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday.

A harambee will be held on Friday, February 2nd at the same venue. A second one will take place on Tuesday, February 6th.

The cortege leaves Mt, Kenya Nursing Home Kerugoya on Friday the 2/02/2018 at 8.30am and thereafter service at ACK Gatwe Cathedral at 11.00am. Burial will follow thereafter at his home at Gatwe Giakibata village, Kirinyaga Central.

Father of Patrick Kinya (Formerly of Ministry of Environment and Treasury), Mary Kinya (DTB), Mary (Metropolitan), Joseph Ndungu, Fausto and Mary, Florence, Jecinta, Alex, Beatrice (all of USA), Joyce Kamuyu, Ekra, Joseph (Babu) and the late Newton. Father-in-law of Susan, Rose, Beatrice, Muchiri and Charles Kamuyu. Grandfather of many.

Family, relatives and friends will be meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at All -Saints Cathederal Church on Wednesday (31st January, 2018), Thursday (1st February, 2018) and Tuesday (6th February, 2018) from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Mugoya Phase IV House No. 93 (Nairobi) and his Kanyeki-ini home.
