We, the family of the late Salome Nyokabi Muriithi-Wahome (Sally), wish to thank Almighty God for having blessed us with her beautiful soul for 46 years. We thank him for the wonderful memories he allowed us to create and to share with her Sally was a blessing to us and all that she touched.

We wish to convey our heart felt gratitude to all the friends, relatives, neighbors for their warmth, prayers and overwhelming support during this difficult moment. We would like to thank in a very special way, the Funeral Organizing Committee who came together to assist the family to give Sally a befitting farewell. Your time and service will always be appreciated and remembered.

We wish to acknowledge the Catholic Parish Tetu especially Fr. Harman Kiboi, and Fr. Michael Kahurani (Riara Parish Church) together with the beautiful choir who conducted her final Mass. We recognize and thank Pastor Innocent Shikanga of Hope Evangelistic Ministries Huruma and his worship team who stood with us and encouraged us in Umoja. To the wonderful teams of family, friends and service providers who ensured that everything proceeded well on a daily basis during the preparation for and the laying of our dearest Sally to rest, we thank you! There are no words that can truly convey our gratitude and appreciation to all for standing with the family during the trying period.

It is exactly four years since that fateful day when you suddenly left us. Today like many days brings special memories about you. The best are always picked, and you were one of those. The beautiful moments that you shared with us remain etched in our memories. Your blissful personality lives within us even though you are not physically present anymore.

Much appreciation goes to friends and family who saw us through the difficult mourning period. This was through their unwavering financial support and prayers. Special appreciation to the entire Landless community (Thika), the ACK St. John’s Happy Valley Church, the then Goodwish fraternity, Old Boys of Chania High School, Mutef Self Help Group, Wespro Women Group, Munyu Mixed Secondary School and finally the Mountain View ACK members. We would not have managed this journey without the support of our immediate families, the Mulukas of Emanyulia and the Barasa family of Amagoro.
