Appreciation

It is one month since our beloved Judy N Kanana (JB) went to be with the Lord. We the family wish to express our special appreciation to relatives, friends, neighbours, colleagues and all who prayed, condoled, comforted, supported and shared in our grief as we mourned her passing on. We wish to thank you all for being there for us during the trying moments.

Special thanks to the Principal Joytown Special Primary School, the entire staff and pupils, friends of Isiolo and Nairobi, Organizing Committee of Nairobi led by Eng. Ingari, Meru committee, KICD fraternity, Kenyatta University fraternity, Neighbours at Kahawa Wendani and Membly estate, Methodist Church in Kenya Ruaraka Nairobi, E.A.PC Mbiriata Church and Rehoboth Worship Centre, Isiolo for the wonderful service.

You are all great and wonderful people may God bless you all.

We shall all miss Judy N Kanana (JB) and have fond memories of her dedication to hard, honest work and her unqualified determination to succeed in whatever she set out to do.

Appreciation

We, the family of the late Mr. Francis Melkior Faraay wish to give thanks to the Almighty God for the years he gave us a loving and caring husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend.

Following his untimely departure on 18th August 2019, we would like to convey our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to members of our extended family and friends in Kenya and Tanzania for their overwhelming support, encouragement and- prayers, as well as to the Doctors and Nurses who attended to him at both Mater and Coptic hospitals, during his short period of illness.

In particular, we wish to express a special word of gratitude to the Vicar of St. Johns, Happy Valley ACK church, Mrs Loise Mburu and her entire Congregation, the Funeral Committee in Thika, the Vicar and members of St. Patrick’s ACK church lsinya, the Director of the Horticultural Research Institute and staff of KALRO (Kandara), the Rt. Rev Bishop (Ret.) Simon Makundi of Mt. Kilimanjaro Diocese Arusha, Rt. Rev (Ret.) Bishop Peter Njoka of Nairobi and the countless number of friends and relatives who participated in one way or the other during Francis’ final journey.

We thank Bama Hospital Siaya for giving Mama dignity in death, & all our suppliers for stellar service delivery as we laid to rest this amazing woman we are privileged to have had as our mother.

As we are not able to name everyone, please accept our heartfelt appreciation of your selflessness & generosity. May the Lord reward you all beyond measure for making lighter, our burden of grief.

We are Encouraged by the Promise of Eternal Rest and the Assurance of Resurrection.
