We the family of Anthony Maina Kimeria would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all who took time to mourn, condole and pray with us following the sudden death of our beloved Anthony in Atlanta, Georgia USA on Saturday I 5th June, 2019. Your encouragement, messages of condolence, prayers and reassurance gave us strength and comfort. Your generosity and commitment were invaluable in enabling us give Anthony a fitting send off. While we are grateful to all of you, we would like especially to thank our Almighty God for giving us a loving son/brother/husband/nephew/friend. We feel deeply honored to call him our own.

Special mention goes to Nairobi Baptist Church led by Pastor Mulandi and Rev Dorcas Kamau of PCEA St Andrews church. Clergy and members of St. Andrews church especially Districts 12 and I4, the caregivers that attended to Anthony in Atlanta, the medical staff at Emory John’s Creek Hospital and Shepherd Centre, all members of the Wamwea family, the Funeral Committee in Atlanta that worked tireless to ensure that Anthony’s remains were brought home, the Funeral Committee in Kenya that ensured that Anthony was given a dignified send-off, all of Anthony’s friends from Atlanta, Boston, Raleigh and from all over the US, former classmates from Lenana School (Class of 87) and Nairobi Primary School (Class of 83).

The entire family of the late Mr. Pitalis Ngiela Okeyo and Mrs. Margaret Okeyo and specifically the late William Ochieng’ Okeyo’s wife Sabina and the children Vivian, Vitalis, Patricia and Rozina wishes to convey their heart felt gratitude to all the friends, relatives, neighbors, professional colleagues for their warmth, prayers and overwhelming support during this difficult moment.

We, the Family of the late Matriarch Dorcas Karungari Waweru, wish to convey our sincerest and heartfelt gratitude to all those who found time to visit our MAMA in the hospital and offered prayers of encouragement when the Lord beckoned her soul. The friends, relatives and neighbors that took time to mourn with us giving us spiritual and material support that enabled us to give our late MAMA a decent send off.

We wish to acknowledge the service offered by doctors, nurses and care givers at the Nairobi Hospital. The leadership of the Anglican church of Kenya, Mt Kenya south Diocese, Nairobi and Kiawambogo churches who found time to give us comforting homilies during meetings held for preparations of her funeral and interment.

There are no words that can truly convey our gratitude and appreciation to all for standing with the family during the trying period. We the family of the late Henry Rohara Beauttah would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all who took time to mourn, condole and pray with us following the death of our beloved brother, father, great grandfather and great, great grandfather during the funeral arrangements and the subsequent burial at Maragwa on Saturday 20th July 2019.

While we are grateful to all of you, we would like to especially thank our Almighty God for the years and blessings he gave ‘Babu’. Special mention goes to Fr. Francis Ng’ang’a Muchendu who is the Father in Charge of St Michael Catholic Church, Lang’ata; Fr Boniface Kimani Wainaina, Father in Charge of Maragwa Catholic Church who was the celebrant for the Funeral Mass; Fr Fulgence, formally of St Mary’s Hospital Chapel, Lang’ata; Fr. Finally, we thank the dedicated funeral committee in Nairobi chaired by Prof. Henry Thairu and Arch. Allan Simu and in Kaliluni, Machakos chaired by Mr. Mwilu, who worked so tirelessly and diligently to give Joseph a highly successful and befitting send-off.

The song is ended, but the melody lingers on.. “God saw an empty place in the Garden And when He saw your tired face He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest in the garden He knew that you were suffering and in pain He knew you would never get well on earth again He saw the road getting rough and the hills harder to climb So He closed your weary eyes and whispered “Peace be thine” It broke our hearts to lose you the day God called you home But your memory lives on in our hearts.

We, the Family of the late Patrice Edward Lumumba Olubendi, wish to express our immense gratitude and appreciation for the overwhelming support, prayers and messages of comfort we received during the hospitalization and eventual demise of our beloved Patrice exactly a year ago today. We remain grateful to the Almighty God for the years He gave us with him and hold dear the immense impact that he made in our lives.

We extend our deepest gratitude to both our Kisa and Gem families, In-laws, Friends, Relatives, Neighbours, Colleagues and innumerable well-wishers who visited and condoled with us in Nairobi and Kakamega. The Nairobi and Kakamega Organizing Committees were meticulous and deeply committed. We shall remain indebted to them for the successful Funds Drive and the well -coordinated Funeral Arrangements that culminated in the dignified send- off for Patrice.

Our gratitude and recognition extend to the Bishop of Butere Diocese represented by Rev. Brown Mujete, Mulwanda Deanery, St. Mathews, ACK Church, Mundoli Parish, Mothers Union & Choir and of All Saints Cathedral, led by Rev.
