We the family of the late Mzee Alfred Kiplamai Arap Bor, Kapkoriko express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood by us when Mzee was called to rest on 16/10/2017.

We are grateful to the doctors and caregivers who took care of him; the late Bishop Korir; Father Vincent and Eldoret Seminary Parish; Our Lady of Mercy Church, Kabongo; all our friends and relatives who supported us following Mzee Bor’s demise.

Your prayers, words of comfort, financial support and time spent with us made our burden and loss bearable.

Thank you for braving the heavy rains and muddy roads to be with us in Kabongo as we bade farewell to our dear Dad on 21/10/2017.

We appreciate your support, May God bless you all.

There will be a memorial service in honour of Mzee Bor on 16/12/2017 at home in Kabongo. The mass will start at noon.

May the Good Lord grant you eternal rest and let perpetual light shine upon you Agui.

Special appreciation to Mwea Mission Hospital, Karira and Mater, Tumutumu and Mt. Kenya hospitals for the treatment and selfless care giving the institutions accorded our mother. We pay tribute to the Nairobi and Kiangwenyi funeral planning committees, friends, neighbours and all service providers who participated in giving our beloved mother a honorable final rite.

We, the family of the late Mary Kariuki would first thank the Lord God almighty for blessing us with the life of a loving wife, mother and friend.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to all those who stood with us during the trying illness, promotion to glory, celebratory memorial and final laying to rest. Your prayers, love, support and generosity carried us in this trying time. Special mention goes to her siblings and relatives, who travelled from far and wide to spend time with her, nurse her and support the family during her illness. Thank you for your unsparing support, time sacrificed and love.

We are most grateful to various groups that participated in this journey. The medical teams in both Nairobi Hospital and Appolo Hospital India for outstanding specialized medical care. Special appreciation goes to the Mavuno and CITAM Churches for conducting the prayer meetings, memorial and burial and for befitting spiritual nourishment throughout the mourning period.

Also for well-wishers in the UK, Tanzania, Botswana who held memorial services in her honor. Thank you Akila I Neighbors for your support. Special commendation goes to the funeral organizing committee ably led by Mavuno team for an efficient, flawless burial. Thank you for your commitment and love.

Thank you Kahuhia team for-preparing the final resting place. As it is not possible to mention everybody who made this Journey possible, please accept this as our message of blessing and appreciation to each and every one of you.

We thank Hon. Esther Passaris for her unparalleled dedication to Ruby. We appreciate the invaluable support of the Agricultural Society of Kenya fraternity, Federation of Kenya Employer’s Board, Chemelil Sugar Company Board staff and community, Chemelil Sugar Academy staff and Form Four class of 2017, Kibos Prison Primary School, Hons. Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o, James Onyango K’Oyoo, Jared Okello, Opiyo Wandayi, and Jack Ranguma.

We, the entire family of the late Joseph Mbugua Gathingo thank the Almighty God for the Blessing of  our Patriarch’s life. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to all those who stood with us during his illness, rest, final celebration and burial ceremony. You did this through your kind thoughts, word of encouragement, acts of Kindness, fervent prayers and generous financial support.

A very special appreciation goes to the Father In Charge – Holy Spirit Miguta Catholic Parish, Fr Peter Muigai, as well as Fr Francis Murira, Fr Michael of St Austin’s Nairobi and Fr Mbugua of Ndonga Parish who jointly conducted the funeral mass, Miguta Catholic Church parishioners and choir as well as members of other churches in Miguta, particularly the Seventh day Adventist who were there for us during the mourning period; Neighbours and friends from Kanjai village for assisting in logistic. CMA Group and St Charles Lwariga SCC – St Joseph’s Catholic Kahawa Sukari -, St. Rita SCC and CMA Mombasa Cathedral; St Francis SCC- St Austin’s Parish: Christ the King SCC and John the Baptist SCC-St Benedict Ngolngwa and WGCK Komothal.

We are thankful to the two funeral organizing committees in Miguta and Nairobi who did an awesome job.
