We regret to announce the sudden demise of Delphine Kerubo Ombongi (DELLOW) which occurred through a tragic road accident in Nakuru Town on 10th July 2020.

Loving wife of Gastone Ogutu of Peace Corps Kenya (US Embassy). Loving mother of Lisa Dissi. Loving daughter of the late Hon. Gilbert Ombongi (SRM) and Irene Adema Ombongi of Ministry of Lands, Nakuru. Daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Otumba. Sister of Brian Okari (USA), Glenda Bosibori (JKUAT-Karen), and Gloria Kwamboka. Sister-in-law of Daphine Ogutu. Niece of Hellen, Zablon, Joseph, Joyce, Phanice, Jared Nivaton (Chairman, Shabana FC), Derrick and Eric (U.S.A), Everlyn, Caroline, Douglas, and Everlyn Ongaki. Grandchild of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Ombongi and Ruth Ongaki.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her parents’ home in Kiamunyi (Green Piece), and at her home in Upper Koinange Estate, Nakuru.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru on Tuesday 2Ist July 2020, for burial at her residence in Ngata Farm, Nakuru.

Father-in-law of Pascaline Murugi Kang’aru, Pauline Nyawira Kanyita, Gladys Gicho and John Kariamburi. Siblings were Mary Wanja, Eunice Mukami Karanja, Virginia Wanjiku Mugwe, Gicho Kang’aru, Elijah Kagiri, Waweru Kanearu, Ruth Njeri Gachani And Esther Muthoni Makau.

Brother of late Solomon Simwa, the late Ebure, the late Ambuku, Jennifer Kanaiza, John Ambani, Wycliffe Muhambe, Kennedy Kahumbi, Linet Kareha, Winnie Kinyanzwa and Margaret Libese. Father of Sarah Iminza, Maureen Vugutsa, Hesborn Madolio, Priscilla Vieriza, the iate jackline, Padwick Mwangala, Janet Makungu and &rack Simwa. Grandfather to Shantel Vuguza, Ansley Williams, Ramson Mogaka, Leone Williams and Liam Jumba.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 18th July 2020 at 5.00am. The requiem mass will be on Sunday, 19th July 2020 at PAG Church compound, Burudi Village and thereafter the body of the Bishop will be laid to rest at his home, Burudi village, Muhanda Sub-location, Lugaga Location, Vihiga County.

Brother of Silvana Nyambu, Elizabeth Chao, Dafton Mwasela, Philister Majala, Agatha Mwadali and Damaris Swedi. Son in law of Clara Mwandagha. Brother-in-law of Phidiliah Mghoi, Christine Mwasela, Lale Mwabili, Mwanyama, Mwadali and the late Swedi, Japhet, Harrison, the late G. It is with humble acceptance that we accept the promotion to Glory of our mum, Agnes Gacheri Mbobua on 14th July 2020 after battling a long illness.

Beloved daughter of the late Andrew M’mwarania and Margaret M’mwarania. Beloved wife of Laban Mbobua Mathiu. Mother of Maryrita, Linda Gakii, Yvonne Gatwiri and Jediel Muturia. Sister of Veronica, Samuel, Jacinta, Selina, Juliana, Lydia and Daniel. She was a devoted grandmother of Leon Clare, Kyle, Gwen and Adrianna. Aunt, cousin and a friend to many.

Due to gathering restrictions currently in place, the family will be having an intimate burial ceremony at the ancestral home, Timau-Meru County on Tuesday 21st July 2020 in conformity with Covid 19 regulation.

We appreciate all the warm and heartfelt condolences we have received from family and friends, all those she touched in one way or another.

The requiem mass will be held today Thursday 16th July 2020 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kileleshwa at 11.00am.

The burial service will be held at his home in Endebess on Saturday, 18th July 2020 at 10.00am. Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, there will be a limited number of people allowed to be in attendance.
