The family of the late Joshua Odongo Ondeje announce the sudden death of Meline Awino Oloo of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology that occurred on the 22nd June 2020 at Bama Hospital in Siaya after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Mama, Sipora Apiyo and the late Mzee Raphael Oloo Oliang’a of Sakwa Kowak Gobei Village. She was the wife of the late Joshua Odongo Ondeje of Sakwa Waohra, Migwena Sub-location, S. Sakwa location, Bondo. Her children include Samsom Odhiambo, Josephine Atieno of Ruanda, Irene Achieng of Kisumu National Polytechnic, Elizabeth Akinyi and Austine Apiyo of Oruko Primary School. Her parents-in-law were the late Erasto Ondeje Odongo and Wilkister Ondeje of Migwena Sub-location.

Sister of the late Omolo Oloo, late Walter Odongo, the late Alex Ochieng’ (Ja per day) and James Omolo, other brothers and sisters include Mr. John Mito Oloo, Ruth Odero, Maurice Oloo, Leah Oloo, Carren Oloo, Jane Oloo among others. Her sisters-in-law include, Margaret, the late Peres, Mary, the late Josephine, Josepine and Scolastica, Rose and Benter. Her aunties include Dorice Omolo, Elizabeth Omolo, Agnes Odongo and Millicent Ochieng’. Her brothers-in-law include, Tobias Oganyo, John, Dismas James, Mark George, Julius and Nichodemus. She has left behind one daughter-in-law, Benter Awino and 4 grandchildren namely Marriam Tency, Faith Melany, James Onyango and Gift Omondi.

The cortege leaves Bondo County Referal mortuary on Saturday 27th June 2020 and will be laid to rest thereafter on the same day.

She was also a mother of Faith Nyawira Kinyanjui and Hezekiah Kinyanjui and Reuben Kinyua Migwi and Leah Wagatwe Kinyua. Caring and loving grandmother and great grandmother of many and loving aunt of many.

The cortege leaves ACK Mount Kenya Hospital Kerugoya on 30th June, 2020 for a funeral service and burial at her home in Kiamaina village, Mutira location, Kirinyaga County.

Daughter of Mosiori Maigo and late Ebishiba Nyaboke. Daughter-in-law of the late William and Askah Moroti Obande. She was wife of Benard Moroti also a High School teacher in Nyamira County in Kisii. Sister of the late John Ogoti, James (USA), josphart, Nyangoka, Elicanah (Nairobi), Cliff (Nakuru), Robert of Minneapolis Minnesota & Hulda (Hennepin County Nurse), Maigo (Nyandarua). Jane and Mary. Niece of Ombaire, Prof. Gekonge (New York) and Dr. Grace Gekonge (KU). Cousin of Nyanchama, Stephen Ogoti, Lydia Nyaboe, Texas, Evalyn Atuti of Virginia among many others in the US. Henry Ongeri of Antalok Attorneys Minnesota, Her cousins are Dr. Sam Nyamweya (Virologist), Egerton University and Joel Nyamweya the Proprieter of Hillsview High School in Nairobi. Her Nephews are Divinah Ogoti, Barclays Credit Manager, Nairobi (Kenya), Fitz Ogoti, Kenya Prisons service and the Maigos.

Condoling friends and family are meeting (while observing state and Federal Covid restrictions) at Robert and Hulda Mosiori Residence at 10291 jersey Ct South, Champlin MN and 2322 Ruby Drive, Charlote NC US. Your support, emotionally, physically and financially is most welcome at this difficult and challenging time.

The cortege leaves Ng’othi Catholic Mission Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 30th June 2020 at 7.30 am. Funeral service will be celebrated at the family home in Kinangop, Muruaki next to Muruaki Secondary School starting at 10.30arn.

Prayers and funeral service will take place on Saturday 27th June 2020 starting from 9.30Am. Strict adherence to MOH and GoK directives relating to COVID-9 will be observed.
