Loving husband of Linet Koli Kakuli (Kenya Prisons service and dad of Latoya Wangui James.

Son of Kennedy Akala Aluda (Deputy Commissioner of Prisons) and Maureen Njora (Kenya Prisons Service). Brother of the late Brian, Ephatus, Candy and Laureen. Grandson of Mzee Samuel Aluda (Rtd Magistrate) and Gladys Aluda of Mungavo Village, Hannah Wambui and the late James Njora. Nephew of Anne Smith (Egypt), Ainley, Philip, Derick, the late Lilian, Christine, Tonny, Rodgers, Scarlett, Frank, Vera, Christian Sandra Aluda and Margaret, late Jacinta, Peter, Nguchune Njora. Cousin of many and uncle of Sage and Kendra.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at his home in Ruiru and Kitengela Prison. There will be viewing of the body on Thursday,25th June 2020 at 12:00 to 01:00pm at Montezuma funeral home.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on Friday 26th June 2020 at 08:00am for Vihiga County. The burial will be held on Saturday 27th June 2020 at Mungavo Village, Serem, Shamakhokho Location.

Sister of Nelson Thungu, jimmy Thagichu, Magret Njambi (late), Albert Rimui, Stephen Mathare, Sammy Kangethe, Peter Njiriri, David Mwaniki, Jane Njeri, Alice Wanjiru, Elizabeth Njambi and the late David Thungu. In law of Cirus Njine, Chrisphine Kanyi, Christopher Mwai, Magret Wairimu, Mary Wangeci, Francis Kingori, Simon Mwangi and Esther Wangui. Grandmother of Arnorld Njuguna, Alvin Gachagua, Alpha Maina, Angel Wambui, David Njuguna and Juliet Emmanuel.

The cortege leaves St. Joseph Mission Hospital (Ombo) on Thursday 25th June, 2020 for burial on 26/6/2020 at 10am at her husband’s Farm in Ikurungu Kiambiriria, South Ngariama, Mwea, Kirinyaga County.

Daughter of the late Musanga Ngio and the late Muindi Kilong’i. Wife of Stephen Kithunzi Walii and co-wife of the late Annah Syomiti. Mother of Priscilla Ndunge, Thomas Mutunga, the late Joyce the late Kilonzo Kithunzi, the late Mary Kithunzi, Margaret Kithunzi (NWHSA), and Grace Kasyuta. Step-Mother of Lasimah Kyongo, the late Muthini Kithunzi, Aphiah Kavutha, Alfred Musembi, Elizabeth Nduku and Ephantus Kitonga. Sister of the late Mulu Musanga, Mbalu Simitu and the late Mwanzia Musanga. Mother in Law of Charles Kitute, Ruth Thomas (GCA), Robert Mau and Abdallah Mwayuya. Grandmother of Ashley, Sarah, Wambui, Winnie, Joyce Kibibi, Eric, Joel, Debra, Dorcas, Mareen, Dareen, Feroz and others. Great Grandmother of Tyron, Tatenda, Sonia and others. Wife of Wilson Kiptarus Cheboiwo (Late) and loving mother of Samuel Kiplagat Tarus (Baringo County Referral Hospital), Asenath Jerop Tarus (Kapsabet Country Referral Hospital), Thomas Kemboi Tarus (World Vision —USA) and Camillah Jebor Tarus (ADS-CR-CASE OVC Nakuru).

Mother-in-law of Sally Kiplagat, Paul Orori, Lilian Kebenei (USA), Frank Argut.

Sister of Moses Tulel (Musa). Cherished Aunty of Chelagat, Kibet, Jepkong’a, Isaiah, Jepsergon, Jeptarus, Kipkoech, Tuitoek, Kandie (late), Jelimo, Jepyegon, Sharon and Mercy. Sister-in-law of Jonah (Late), Rhoda (Late), Joshua, Dinah, Simian (Late), Selina, Jane, Esther, Rebecca, Bartonjo (Late) and Beatrice Simotwo (Late).

Doting grandmother of Mercy Kwamboka, Dancun Orori, Lincoln Kemboi (USA), Jayden Kemboi (USA), Blessed Kiplagat, Kipkales Kiplagat and Destiny Kiplagat.

The funeral planning meetings are taking place daily at her Kabarak home.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 26th June for an overnight vigil at her Kabarak Home, Nakuru County. She will thereafter be laid to rest on Saturday 27th June 2020.

In the early hours of Saturday, June 20th, 2020, our much loved Njeri was in a tragic accident.

Father in law to Linda and Winfred. Brother to Nahashon, Grace, Late Timina, late Muteti, late Naomi, Daniel, Ngei and Serah Kalee. Loving in law to Elizabeth Luseno, Kavulani Luseno, Maggie Luseno, Dorcas, Esther, Serah, Johnie, Julius Mutuku, Elizabeth Munaa, Muoki amongst others. Nephew to Peter Mutua, Philip Thaka, Daudi Musyoka, Grace Mbeke amongst others. Cousin to Titus Thaka, simon Thaka, James Kithuma amongst others.
